Catholics disagree on a million different things as well. Just because there aren’t denominations doesn’t mean you guys are completely unified. You are unified in name only.
I love my Catholic friends and think we have so much important common ground. But this idea that Protestants are only Protestants to drive division, and that we have no serious, Biblical contentions with Catholicism is ignorant.
Protestants believe (and of course I think rightly) that the gospel was recovered through the reformation. Luther wasn’t perfect & neither was his movement, but so much of our understanding of Scripture is due to his reform. Not to mention much of western society
I have so much more to say but don’t want it to come across to my catholic followers that I don’t love them or want to hear their perspective. Anyway. Christians have a LOT to thank the Reformation for. Catholics don’t have to agree, but don’t purposely misstate our position
