One thing that’s become abundantly clear to me in running Lambda School is the enormous advantage of having a built-in network from family.
The students I’m most proud to see hired are those that learned to bootstrap their own network or (increasingly) those that use Lambda’s.

That’s one of the reason over the next 12-18 months we’ll be investing millions in growing the Lambda School network, at times by sales and brute force.
If we have it already built out students who don’t come with the same advantages can just plug in and show what they can do.

A lot of schools end up with an alumni network. I’m not aware of any school as incentivized as we are to grow it as big or as deep or as fast.
