Instead of Black Friday shopping, how about helping this teacher in a low-income SF school that just got its budget cut by $170K and lost its learning specialist get some basic classroom supplies? She asking for pencils and gluesticks ffs: donorschoose.org/project/our-sc…
You can also pick another school to give to, sort by region, grade, type of request...lot of low-income schools in cold areas just trying to get their kids coats. @DonorsChoose donorschoose.org
You guys, we're about half way there. If you can spare even $10, that buys a lot of pencils. donorschoose.org/project/our-sc…
Another $115 dollars and we've supplied Ms Garcia's classroom. I see that, per usual, many who've given are other teachers. Which is awesome. But some of you guys have more to spare than they do. Did I mention you'll get thank you letters from the kids? donorschoose.org/project/our-sc…
You guys did it. Thank you so much. I'll be back later with another project, but I just want to encourage all of you to find a school (including rural, low-income, special ed), grade, or type of project and help kick off your own funding drive. @ me and I'll amplify. THANK YOU
This one is a must fund. Help low-income kids WITH AUTISM, bond with kids who are not autistic IN FLINT, MICHIGAN. I kicked off the donations. We only need $315 to go donorschoose.org/project/foster…
Alright I'm going to call on @stevesilberman and anyone else who is, or writes about, neuro-atypical to give this one a signal boost...

Or who remains outraged at the water crisis in Flint (and many other areas)
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING
I'll be back later with some TRIBAL schools. In the meantime, a gift card for donor's choose is a great holiday gift to help your friends and families fund a school or programs they care about donorschoose.org/donors/giftopt…
You guys, we can do this. Chico, CA, where many of the fire refugees are. She only needs $279 to go. All donations doubled. And ALL donations to @DonorsChoose are tax deductible: donorschoose.org/project/fun-bo…
Only $79 to go, which means somebody can close this out for $40. donorschoose.org/project/fun-bo…
SERIOUSLY YOU GUYS ROCK.
Ok, really I am going out for a bit. But first, here's a teacher in SC, @miss__stinson, who's literally just trying to help her kids do laundry and have clean clothes. She also has a project for science supplies. You know what to do: donorschoose.org/project/rub-a-…
Her project is being matched meaning that $230 can close it out, and $10 or $20 goes a long way: donorschoose.org/project/rub-a-…
For $36 you can close out this project. Find more at donorschoose.org
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING, ALMOST AS AMAZING AS MS STINSON
Ok, last one for at least an hour. Tribal school in SD. Teacher juggling 120 kids. She needs a computer. It's a big ask, but donations are being matched. You guys, it's Thanksgiving. I don't need to tell you why we should do this: donorschoose.org/project/a-micr…
This school has survived and rebuilt after being burned to the ground (several times!) and leveled by tornadoes. crowcreek.k12.sd.us/crow_creek_tri…
Ok, 11 of us have gotten us more than half way there. We have about $1000 to go. $20 gets you $40... tax deductible donorschoose.org/project/a-micr…
Reupping a call to help a school counselor helping 120 Native kids make it through school. Such kids face incredible entrenched poverty and discrimination. We finally have two Native women in Congress...let's the next generation of Native leaders. donorschoose.org/project/a-micr…
I know it's a computer. Educators in poor schools need computers too. And I know it's a new teacher. But don't we want her and her kids to succeed? donorschoose.org/project/a-micr…
You guys have helped me raise more than $2000 + matches for low-income kids in San Francisco, Flint MI, Chico CA, Boiling Springs SC, and we have about $500 left on this drive for Native high schoolers in SD. Let's get this done tonight. #GoodBlackFriday donorschoose.org/project/a-micr…
We only need $153 to close this one out!!! donorschoose.org/project/a-micr…
YES, YES, YES YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING.
Can't stop, won't stop. This teacher in Bed-Stuy wants to get a washer/dryer because some of her students are homeless or otherwise have no access to laundry. We can finish this for $562 donorschoose.org/project/long-l…
These asks for ways to help kids and their families get and clean clothes are so sad. We need to serious overhaul our society. But you can be part of this small stopgap. donorschoose.org/project/long-l…
We only need $132 more on this one!!!
I AM SERIOUSLY IN AWE OF YOU GUYS. JUST AMAZING.
This teacher in East Flatbush teaches a mix of special ed and general ed 4 and 5 year olds who need coats, scarves, and hats: donorschoose.org/project/help-w…
We are $117 away from getting these kids coats. donorschoose.org/project/help-w…
I AM IN AWE. BUT NOT DONE YET
Inner city Chicago kindergartners, some of whom walk to school need coats and gloves. Awesome African-American teacher. Only needs $180. LET'S DO THIS donorschoose.org/project/warm-h…
DOESN'T THIS FEEL GOOD? THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!!
OAKLAND. @salesforce is matching this one 5X. Which means only needs $04 to pull over line. GO GO GO donorschoose.org/project/person…
That one closed out before my donation went through. NO MATTER I WILL FIND MORE
And yes, I donate to all of them, skin in the game and I want you guys to trust in that.
Lord: This teacher is trying to get cleaning supplies so that her low-income students can volunteer at a nursing home. And, thanks to the New Teachers Fund, it only needs $104 donorschoose.org/project/clean-…
HOW COOL ARE YOU GUYS.

(now remember all this when you consider how we should better fund and equalize school funding.)
CLEVELAND ROCKS, or will if you help this teacher provide the clothes her 100% low-income kids need for school: donorschoose.org/project/meetin…
$307 to go on this one. I gotta walk the dog but I hope this is funded by the time I get back. Also GENTLEMEN, the ladies are outperforming you by 7 to 1, donor wise on this overall (I can't see who gave what.)

MAN UP
I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS THE MAN GUILT TRIP THAT PUT US OVER BUT WE DID IT!!!!
OK, while I walk the dog, I can't help but highlight a teacher that wants to give her low-income kids educational MAGAZINES. $80 gets this done donorschoose.org/project/storyw…
The dog pooped on a storm-downed branch and I got poop on my hands trying to pick up, but I'm clean now and so happy BECAUSE YOU GUYS GAVE LOW INCOME STUDENTS MAGAZINES
Also, folks keep saying they're trying to give to some of these I'm highlighting and they get funded before they can. But you don't need me: go to donorschoose.org, pick by region. project etc. rally your networks to give. I'm happy to amplify those drives. MEANWHILE
I once graded the assessment essays of kids all over the country, and the best by far were the kids who had to read "Things Fall Apart." South LA, almost all low-income students: donorschoose.org/project/bringi…
Ok, we just need another $215 to get this South Central classroom copies of Chinua Achebe's masterpiece. Let's do this donorschoose.org/project/bringi…
“If you don't like my story, write your own” --Chinua Achebe.

WE DID WROTE THIS STORY
Ok we've done a lot of urban schools. Let's turn now to Cobden, IL, a small diversifying orchard town that had some kind of epic underdog basketball victory in 1964 that gave rise to its nickname, The Appleknockers donorschoose.org/project/love-o…
I feel like somebody should make this whole episode into Hoosiers II, because it clearly looms large in the town's identity. ALSO THEY GIVE US FRUIT. donorschoose.org/project/love-o…
Mrs. Marks seems wise. Her kids are mostly low-income. Let's help her get this done. Project sunsets tomorrow. donorschoose.org/project/love-o…
WHOA THAT WAS QUICK, YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME AND GIVING ME FUEL
Ok, on over to Mississippi—where btw, there's a Senate runoff in 4 days!—here's a project in a low-income school that will terminated tomorrow if we don't fund: donorschoose.org/project/collab…
The teacher, Mrs. McRaney, donated to her own fundraising drive. As so many do. And so many more teachers are paying for essentials out of their own, far-to-small, paychecks. We must help in ways big and small. donorschoose.org/project/collab…
!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone who gave so quickly.
Staying in Mississippi, which again has a Senate runoff in 4 days, because there are some low-income rural schools that need basic writing supplies, like Friars Point Middle School: donorschoose.org/project/writin…
Mrs Knot is subtweeting IN THE BEST WAY donorschoose.org/project/writin…
Ok every town I've looked up in this journey has an amazing history but...donorschoose.org/project/writin…
70 students. No copy paper. YOU GUYS I KNOW IT'S LATE BUT THIS ONE LAST ONE TONIGHT donorschoose.org/project/writin…
I'm getting emails of thanks from some of the teachers we've funded earlier at 3:30 AM their time. If you're still up, you can make Mrs. Knott so happy when she wakes up. donorschoose.org/project/writin…
Again, teachers are emailing me, at 3:30 AM, on a holiday weekend, because they're so happy we're helping their kids with the absolute basics. Please give to @DonorsChoose and vote for more, more equitable school funding.
YOU GUYS MADE MY, AND MS KNOTT'S, NIGHT.

Also shout out to @lmc who closed this, and several other pledges out.
Ok guys, let's keep this fundraising going. I'm going to highlight some low-dollar but vital drives. Like this teacher who needs paper and pencils. Just $54 to go: donorschoose.org/project/jump-s…
WAY TO START THE MORNING!!!
Another low-income school in Florida that needs basic supplies and grade appropriate books. This one is a 3X match, and can be closed out for about $130. All donations are tax deductible donorschoose.org/project/transf…
YOU GUYS DID IT!!!
Here's a teacher in rural Montana who wants to provide her low-income kids warm pajamas and socks. Teachers are the best. We can do this for $330: donorschoose.org/project/warm-j…
Here's the forecast in their town
WARM TOES IN MONTANA, GOOD JOB GUYS
Now I did not go looking for a drive in Wasilla, AK, but I found a great one. Kids making sandwiches for other homeless or housing insecure kids. Can I get a signal boost @SarahPalinUSA? This is a big lift, $1500: donorschoose.org/project/projec…
I mean, how awesome is this? donorschoose.org/project/projec…
During the recent school closures in SF, i heard from teacher friends how worried they were that it meant that a lot of kids wouldn't have at least a meal or two. This project not only helps feed kids, it helps kids help feed kids. donorschoose.org/project/projec…
I know it's intimidating when the overall amount is high and there's no match. But we did bigger lifts last night. Every little bit helps. donorschoose.org/project/projec…
Ok we're 1/10th of the way there. How can you resist something entitled "Project Sandwich"? donorschoose.org/project/projec…
Ok we're 1/3rd of the way there to helping these kids provide lunch to their peers who are food and housing insecure. This is awesome thanks so much everybody. donorschoose.org/project/projec…
OMG WE DID IT THANK YOU EVERYBODY
For a whopping $66 we can help the kids at Malcolm X Elementary in Washington DC learn to recycle, thanks to a 3X match: donorschoose.org/project/i-wont…
Because it's my hometown, I'm going to point out that ALL projects in DC are being triple matched. Here's the list for projects in schools that are low-income: donorschoose.org/donors/search.…
THOSE KIDS AT MALCOM X ARE GOING TO HELP SAVE THE WORLD
This teacher is asking for printer ink and paper b/c there's one copier for the whole school. Also, OutKast ftw: donorschoose.org/project/print-…
I mean jfc, we need more school funding NOW donorschoose.org/project/print-…
GOOD JOB PEOPLE !!!
These kids need more, and more inclusive books. Representation is so important! And there are great books out there but underfunded schools may not have caught up. We can get this done for $176 thanks to 3X match donorschoose.org/project/book-w…
We only need $116 to close this one out. Books! For kids! donorschoose.org/project/book-w…
Only need $64. Among the books she is planning to buy are ones about Anne Frank, Muhammad Ali, Ida B. Wells.... donorschoose.org/project/book-w…
AND SHE'S GOING TO GET THOSE BOOKS GREAT JOB EVERYBODY!!
No really, I'm taking a break before the dog's bladder bursts. While I'm away, can I remind you that ALL projects in DC are being 3X matched. A lot of them can be closed out for less than $100. Looking at you, Washington press corps donorschoose.org/donors/search.…
Let's fund some California schools. First, a brief detour about why they're so underfunded. Prop 13 passed back in the Pete Wilson days, as part of an anti-tax (and immigrant) backlash, essentially froze property taxes. Property taxes are the vehicle by which we fund schools.
Upshot: California used to have the best public schools in the country, now we're third from the bottom. And Jerry Brown has been a deficit hawk re increasing state formula to fund schools. These are things we need to change, meanwhile:
In Bakersfield (aka Kevin McCarthy's district) there's always been a lot of poverty. Here's a teacher trying to get her 100% low-income PK-2nd grade kids some books: donorschoose.org/project/readin…
This one is being 3X matched, meaning that we can get this done for $134 donorschoose.org/project/readin…
This ten year teacher has been trying to scrape together this money since AUGUST donorschoose.org/project/readin…
AWESOME YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST
Can we talk about how much we've gutted arts and music programs? This teacher in an inner-city school just wants some violin strings. This is a medium lift, $450 needed: donorschoose.org/project/in-nee…
Honestly, so heartbreaking: donorschoose.org/project/in-nee…
This is a teacher in Compton, which has obviously produced a lot of great musicians. Who can signal boost this to the right communities? donorschoose.org/project/in-nee…
We only need $55 more to get these kids working instruments! donorschoose.org/project/in-nee…
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING
Sticking with California low-income arts needs. LIKE DRUMLINE. This is a 3x match, we can get it done for $500 donorschoose.org/project/stands…
Stockton, CA is pretty low-income Central Valley community that got devastated by the real estate crash. But it's coming back, thanks in part to a dynamic young mayor. And you know what's good for celebrating hard-earned success? DRUMLINE donorschoose.org/project/stands…
OK we're about $400 away. donorschoose.org/project/stands…
If you have your own kid in a lot of after school programs, I'd ask you to consider that some kids only get to do one, and only if they're funded. The idea that these are "bonus" is how we allow them to be cut. donorschoose.org/project/stands…
Just need another $350, that's 14 people giving $25, but every little bit helps donorschoose.org/project/stands…
Just need $250 to make such a big difference for these kids and their teacher... donorschoose.org/project/stands…
Down to $150. Come on you band kids, drummers, dancline ladies, HBCU grads. DRUMLINE donorschoose.org/we-teach/54256…
We are $85 away from making these band kid dreams come true. Tax deductible! Kids and teachers will send you emails and ACTUAL LETTERS. Lets get this done. donorschoose.org/project/stands…
YES MR BROWN AND THE FRANKLIN HIGH DRUMLINE HAVE THEIR EQUIPMENT, AWESOME JOB EVERYBODY!!!
I'll confess to being a math idiot. That's why I'm all the more psyched to support calculus students in low-income rural West Virginia. This is a 3X match project, we can close out for $385 donorschoose.org/project/gnaw-o…
Also, ahem, tech companies that claim to want more racial and economic diversity should be supporting and connecting with teachers like Mrs. McCauley
WOW THAT ONE WAS QUICK. MY MOM THE EX MATH (also physics and chemistry, she really struck out with me) TEACHER WILL BE SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS
GIRLS WHO CODE NEED MINI ROBOT THINGS TO CODE in Bridgeport, CT, an extremely low-income city. donorschoose.org/project/girls-…
I love this peer-to-peer mentoring donorschoose.org/project/girls-…
(as an aside, if anyone with functional education or other area expertise wants to weigh in and suggest some projects, by all means)
This is at an interdisciplinary tech magnet school that looks super cool. Drawing from a district that has more than its share of poverty and violence. Again, tech recruiters... donorschoose.org/project/girls-…
Just need $330 more... donorschoose.org/project/girls-…
Just $230 more. Almost all low-income girls, most of whom are POC: donorschoose.org/project/girls-…
$93 to go. Your dollars are being 3x matched by Samsung. Get that money for those girls donorschoose.org/project/girls-…
GREAT JOB EVERYBODY!
Cold little kids. In Chicago. We just need $284 to get them gloves and hats: donorschoose.org/project/defeat…
Teachers are the stopgap for food, for clothing, for transit, for counseling. It's awe inspiring. donorschoose.org/project/defeat…
This whole effort of mine has me toggling between gratitude and optimism and abject rage. Anyway, let's get these kids some hats donorschoose.org/project/defeat…
SOME WARM HEADS AND HANDS IN CHICAGO THANK YOU
I'm dyslexic. So I cannot stress how important this kind of early intervention can be. donorschoose.org/project/to-wri…
These fellow dyslexics are from a low-income community in Brownsville Texas. Their teacher seems great. We need $354 to get them what they need. donorschoose.org/project/to-wri…
WOW we only need $63 more to fund this puppy. (not an actual puppy) donorschoose.org/project/to-wri…
YOU GUYS ARE SO GREAT. REALLY
OK, here comes a reach project. But it's for EDUCATIONAL STEM MAGAZINES for NATIVE KIDS in NC. 3rd to 5th graders. Need a bit over $1000: donorschoose.org/project/schola…
The kids in this school are mostly Haliwa-Saponi donorschoose.org/project/schola…
To extremely shortform it, the Haliwa-Saponi are Native Americans, whom after multiple tribes were decimated by disease and aggression came to settle in this region of NC. And then this happened docs.google.com/viewerng/viewe…
And then other horrible things happened. Anyway, let's get these kids some damn STEM magazines with names like SuperScience and DynaMath: donorschoose.org/project/schola…
Also many of my people #onhere are either magazine/news people or STEM people and I really hope to see some names I recognize in the list of donors: donorschoose.org/project/schola…
Hi: do you work in a leadership job at a tech company. Can you name any employees who are Native? Stop giving yourself a pipeline excuse and fund this, and things like this: donorschoose.org/project/schola…
Ok we're 1/5th of the way there. Here's their teacher, Mrs. Richards. $100 damn dollars a year per class for supplies: donorschoose.org/project/schola…
Ok, we're half way there. Native kids, STEM magazines. Let's do this donorschoose.org/project/schola…
I haven't verified, but seems like Mrs Richardson, the teacher for this project, is descended from a tribal leader of Native Americans who'd intermarried with both white colonists and freed blacks. A lot of people in this tribe have the last name of Richardson.
I'd love to ask her someday. But it doesn't matter re how we can help these kids. Only need $351 donorschoose.org/project/schola…
YES WE DID IT. ANOTHER AWESOME CLASSROOM GIVEN WHAT THEY DESERVE AND NEED
Over the last two days you guys have pitched in to fund $28,130 worth of @donorschoose projects. THAT'S AMAZING!!! We've bought coats and gloves and pencils and computers, band gear and art supplies—all for low-income kids and their teachers.
We'ved funded tribal schools in NC and SD. We've funded low-income schools in NYC, DC, Oakland, Chicago, SF... We've helped kids in Chico, Modesto, Stockton, and Bakersfeild. Kids in rural Montana and W Va. YOU GUYS DID THIS.
I think it's appalling that we have to do this btw. We horribly underfund our schools. We allow our political priorities to be dictated by the super elite and others who don't have the best interests of our kids in mind.
We celebrate Bloomberg for giving $`1.8 Billion to Johns Hopkins, when he should have been taxed on that money and it should be distributed to NYC kids, at least. We can organize and vote to change all that. Meanwhile, these kids need us and we're NOT DONE YET:
This morning will be lightning rounds of projects in low-income public schools that will lose the funding if it's not done TODAY. Mostly these are small amounts, and it'll go fast. To jump ahead, I'm picking through this search. donorschoose.org/donors/search.…
Here's a pre-K teacher forced to outfit a moldy gutted classroom in Miami (where I believe there are plenty of rich people, grrr). Let's help her out. This is a 3x match, we can do this for $181 donorschoose.org/project/callin…
Also I will note that there are several people giving to a lot of these, and that a lot of people giving are PS teachers themselves. Other folks, STEP UP DON'T BE SHY. EVERY BIT HELPS donorschoose.org/project/callin…
BOOOOOOM! Great job you guys.
Here are some disabled kids who just need their teacher to have the assessment toys to help them. Helping these kids develop their fine motor skills will make a huge difference in their entire life. We need $765 donorschoose.org/project/meetin…
While we wait, people have asked why so many teachers are asking for "flexible seating" (and also rugs). A) general underfunding. B) even "traditional" schools are moving toward "project based learning" where kids work in groups, rather than teacher just lecturing to them...
Meanwhile, more on this teacher and her awesome kids, one of whom is blind. We need $603 more donorschoose.org/project/meetin…
Tustin is in Orange County. Orange County is rich. Yet nearly all her kids are low-income. So again, the hearding of poor (and disabled) kids. Enraging. donorschoose.org/project/meetin…
Aside from one anonymous donor, all who have given are women. Which, GOOD JOB LADIES. However guys, if you've been coming up short on your PTA, carpooling, and other kid chores, here's a chance for Karma repair. donorschoose.org/project/meetin…
We need $500 more. Think what a difference your donation of whatever amount can make to these disabled kids.
Carol is one of many who've given several times this weekend. In addition to the lovely notes from teachers and later kids, your donation is tax deductible donorschoose.org/project/meetin…
GREAT JOB YOU GUYS!!
Thanks to a match, we only need $53 to get these Hawaiian kids art supplies. Who wants this one? donorschoose.org/project/bright…
Whew, multidonor @lmc beat me to it. Thanks so much for all your efforts these last few days, Lisa
Ok, these are poor K-3 students in rural NC. Their teacher needs $857 more. WE CAN DO THIS donorschoose.org/project/kinder…
Again, all the drives I'm highlighting are for school that are predominately low-income schools. I'm trying to diversify by region and project in part so you guys get a sense of the need, which is staggering. Today's projects are also ones that won't get filled unless we do today
The gift of books at this age can chance the trajectory of a life. donorschoose.org/project/kinder…
If your irritated at having this stuff clogging up your feed all weekend, but feel too guilty to mute it/me—I see you—I got the answer. Give a few bucks, then mute the thread. :)
I know I'm some weird edge case, but the caching on @DonorsChoose is frustrating. That said I think we only have $539 to go. Maybe less! The only way to know is to give. donorschoose.org/project/kinder…
There are some here who feel guilty they can't give despite being on SS and having given a lot already this year. If that's NOT you, step up. Also you get notes like this:
Here's a note on the NC area that we're fundraising for books for K-2 students. donorschoose.org/project/kinder…
Mrs. Wilkinson put in this request for poor rural NC kids in July. It only had one donor until today. WE CAN DO THIS donorschoose.org/project/kinder…
We're more than halfway there. Only need another $424.
AWESOME YOU GUYS THOSE LITTLE KIDS ARE GOING TO BE SO HAPPY!
My dog is about to have a play date with an actual puppy. I will reward you with pictures. Here are some MN low-income student musicians with a big chance to go to NYC. Only need $266 donorschoose.org/project/music-…
About those Bridgeport CT kids we got calculus equipment for:
Here's the Bakersfield CA teacher we got books for
Here's the teacher in Montana, we bought her kids socks and PJs.
Here's the Friars Point MS teacher we got reading and writing supplies for
Meanwhile, we only need $206 to send these kids from Minnesota to NYC. Huge opportunity for low-income students: donorschoose.org/project/music-…
Only $44 to go (the puppy is late)
Here's that Drumline from Stockton we funded
YAY WE SEND THOSE BAND KIDS TO NYC!!!!
As promised, some pictures of my dog Cabbage meeting Biscuit the puppy
Let's go to Arkansas, where this classroom needs some utterly baseline things, like pencils: Thanks to a 3X match we can do this for $87 donorschoose.org/project/play-l…
THANK YOU EVERYBODY
Now the dog is bonkers with excitement and I have to take him out. Here's another basic classroom ask, in Hartford. We need $275 and I'd love to see it funded by the time I get back: donorschoose.org/project/may-i-…
WOW YOU GUYS GOT THAT DONE BEFORE I COULD LEAVE THE HOUSE
So here's another, bigger, one, where a teacher buys her low-income kids the basic school supplies they need (as many teachers do): In Kentwood MI, only has 6 hrs left, we need $880 donorschoose.org/project/classr…
Dog is giving me death eyes, here's more on this project: donorschoose.org/project/classr…
YOU GUY DID IT (sent from the dog park)
This teacher need to replace broken chairs that are hurting her low-income kids. Under $200 gets this done donorschoose.org/project/the-ch…
Now we only need $43...
YES NO MORE PINCHY CHAIRS
Here’s an African American teacher in Conroe Texas who need basic supplies and books for her kids. $121 gets this done donorschoose.org/project/supers…
And here’s why it’s so important to support black teachers motherjones.com/politics/2016/…
Oh wait there’s a 2x match. You can close out for $61 donorschoose.org/project/supers…
GREAT JOB YOU GUYS
Bethlehem, PA, decimated by the steel bust. Help Mrs. Bruck get her HSers some books. Yours for $27 donorschoose.org/project/my-stu…
BOOOOOOOOM
Ok, this teacher of a multi-ethnic, rural, low-income school needs some equipment for kids who have a hard time just sitting at a desk all day. (I have one of those) donorschoose.org/project/tigers…
We only need $110 more on this one...
Just $110 to go...
4 people giving $20 can close this out donorschoose.org/project/tigers…
YOU GUYS ROCK. THOSE KIDS IN NC ARE GOING TO BE SO HAPPY
Stockton, CA. These little kids need some basic art supplies. Can you imagine the cuteness that will result? Again, a mostly low-income school. No donors until us. Need $434: donorschoose.org/project/we-are…
Also, journalists: many of us cannot or will not make political donations. A lot of other people, however, have tapped themselves out this year. So let's step up.
Here's a note from the NC K-2 teacher that we bought a bunch of books for a few hours ago:
Here's the TK-K teacher we're currently fundraising for: donorschoose.org/project/we-are…
Far too many people giving to these drives are teachers, retired teachers, or teachers that left the profession to survive. Their dedication is AMAZING. But if you're more financially secure, it's your turn to give:
