The reason why we review comedian Christopher Titus' (@TitusNation) specials @DCFilmdom is because they're not your regular HBO-type hourlong comedy shows. They're feature-length narratives complete with three-act structure, ebb and flow, and expert storytelling.
In our opinion, he is the hardest-working comedian trying not only to put a good product onstage, but to bring those watching a little closer together through the shared experience of being human in an age where being human has been forgotten through the overuse of social media.
His latest, AMERIGEDDON, tries to make sense of what we've become since the election of 2016 started ramping up. Tackling racism, willful ignorance, and how awful we're being to each other, AMERIGEDDON should be required viewing before 2020. Our review: dcfilmdom.com/2018/11/christ…
Oh, and let's not forget: it's funny as hell, too.
Thanks for the retweet, @nminow!
