Received a lot of questions on this & the cold outreach method I've used
Choose the niche you want to operate in. Mine has been all over the place, but I chose tech/crypto + real estate
Simply because there's big $ there
Also, ones with shitty sales letters on their webpages + running FB ads. These are all good signs of knowing the importance of marketing.
Thats huge, because in order to get a client, you must sell YOURSELF and your VALUE to them.
If you have no confidence, you won't get the gig. So, write in a polarizing manner on your first email.
In your first round of cold emails, focus on getting a response back.
Leave the reader curious as to what might happen if he responds. ALWAYS leave a CTA to either email you back or give you a call.
I closed one. Closed another on a paid trial/retainer. Have a phone call w/ 3rd client.
Now, I consider myself pretty damn good at copy, so I was able to get them quick.
So, you must be persistent. If you do not receive an email back within a few days, send another. Rinse and repeat until your emails are being blocked or you get a response.
Aim to close the client on the deal w/out a trial.
Don't work for free, fuck that.
Once you show them you can work, and sell them on the benefits of working with you(more time and money)
They'll be happy to pay up.
But, also I go for a commission. I play the "aligned incentives" card and make them pay me a percentage of the sales.
Bang. It really is *that* simple.
