How to lock up your first high paying🤑 copywriting client within a week or two of learning how to write copy🧠

Received a lot of questions on this & the cold outreach method I've used
First, you have to have some sort of skills. So, read a copy book or buy Nate's BDSC, or Tej's copy course then get to practicing.

Choose the niche you want to operate in. Mine has been all over the place, but I chose tech/crypto + real estate

Simply because there's big $ there
Now, do your research on the niche, but also the potential client. I preferred to find clients whom I knew had an email list already.

Also, ones with shitty sales letters on their webpages + running FB ads. These are all good signs of knowing the importance of marketing.
Now, you have a niche & a list of potential clients. Get over the sales monster.

Thats huge, because in order to get a client, you must sell YOURSELF and your VALUE to them.

If you have no confidence, you won't get the gig. So, write in a polarizing manner on your first email.
Write with zero regrets. Be entertaining and persuasive. Write how you talk.

In your first round of cold emails, focus on getting a response back.

Leave the reader curious as to what might happen if he responds. ALWAYS leave a CTA to either email you back or give you a call.
5 emails a day works. 25 is better. It took me about 20-30 emails to get my three high interest responses.

I closed one. Closed another on a paid trial/retainer. Have a phone call w/ 3rd client.

Now, I consider myself pretty damn good at copy, so I was able to get them quick.
It may not work as quickly for you,

So, you must be persistent. If you do not receive an email back within a few days, send another. Rinse and repeat until your emails are being blocked or you get a response.

Aim to close the client on the deal w/out a trial.
If they don't bite, offer a cheap, paid trial.

Don't work for free, fuck that.

Once you show them you can work, and sell them on the benefits of working with you(more time and money)

They'll be happy to pay up.
I always ask for between $500-$1500/month, depending on the workload.

But, also I go for a commission. I play the "aligned incentives" card and make them pay me a percentage of the sales.

Bang. It really is *that* simple.
You can make $1-2k/month from this and it just takes an hour or two a day to do the tasks for the client.

If making an extra $2k/month is something you're interested in, jump on my email list
