And...how to apply it to getting more freelance clients

First, you must understand that business and relationships all center around human psychology.

Things like,

* Likability
* Charisma
* Uniqueness
* Confidence

all play a vital role in getting whatever it is you want.
Things to do:

* Inflate others ego
* Focus on the value you're bringing them
* Focus on them in general, make it all about them
* Be a ballsy MFer, exude massive amounts of confidence
* Don't say what everyone else does, be different
* Make the person feel listened to
Things not to do:

* Be a whopping pussy and communicate like you're helpless
* Blow them up, there's a difference between persistence and annoyance
* Focus on yourself and how good you are at something
* Criticize the other person
* Be boring, having no flare and no self-respect
So, for this thread we'll talk about getting freelance clients, because I've had a bit of success with it over past month or two.

The premise of freelance outreach is really one thing:

Cold emails or DMs

Sure, you can cold call, but I think instant messaging works better.
So, when you cold email...

You want to use psychology in your favor...so you want to:

* Focus on the client's pain points, agitate em' a lil' why not
* Be confident in your services and act with outcome independence
* Use curiosity to get the client interested
* Be ballsy
Now, when you get a response, you also must use psychology in your favor...

Wait a bit to respond

Show slight interest, don't fully commit

Again, can't stress this enough, be confident in your response

All in all?

Be slightly hard to get
Just like women, you want the client to chase you, you don't want to chase them.

The former works beautifully, latter rarely does.

Now, when you get them on the phone...this is where the real magic happens hehehehehehehehehe
Don't be Mr. "OMG YES THIS IS SO AWESOME THX SO MUCH"

Nah

Be Mr. "Oh yeah, I have a few other clients right now, so I'll try to fit you in my schedule...oh, by the way, how does $1000/month sound?"

Now, you're on the phone and you've got to close.

Get em' excited. Crack a joke, get their emotions all riled up, express all your benefits and print a vision for them. It works.

Then, with the biggest pair of BALLS you have got (I know, they're still kinda small)

"Well sir, it looks like I'll be doing x,y,z for you, and you know no one in this world works for free. But, since you're such a great (friend, person, guy), I'd like to cut you a deal. $1000/month for all of this. I usually charge double that, but its you"

Personalization
Overcome their weak ass objections and close the deal with a contract being sent from you and a payment received SAME day.
