Farm boy, once we were reunited, did you seriously hide your identity for longer, guilt-tripping me for MY infidelity, when you spent years pirating around and leaving no survivors, like, seriously?

By the way, The Princess Bride is one of my very favorite movies. But that Dread Pirate Roberts set-up, which is there to create some mystery around Westley’s return, creates a character problem for him that is ... not insignificant.
As a result, I find as I watch in recent years, the most moving relationship is the one between the movie’s truest heroes.
Very good and funny but far more biting and satirical. In fact, my take is that these Westley problems in the movie are a leftover artifact from the book, where he’s meant to have these flaws.
