Don't be fooled: he's not like Trump. For Brazilians he will be much worse and for International Relations he'll be Trump's little pet.
Another thing that he keeps repeating is the idea of not having a "political bias". He's been a politician for most of his life, and his team is completely oriented towards conservative morals. But the discourse takes precedence over reality - that's his strategy.

Also interesting: the transcript of his speech mentioned basic education "against ideology and towards reducing social inequities." We only saw that on the screen - he omitted the last part while emphasizing the first.
