Another year is here, welcome!

"A fire goeth before him..." Psalms 97:3

Age may come with many things, but certainly not with everything. Kings and old people in the Bible have counsellors; meaning no one is all-knowing. You need God to navigate through life, and, this year!

"A fire goeth before him…" Psalms 97:3 (KJV)

There is only one Person to follow in the journey of life, and that Person is God! He is the Maker of the heavens and the earth, and thus has the layout of both in His palm! Follow Him, but ONLY through JESUS!

"...What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour..." Heb. 2:6-7

Though crown brings honour, but crown does not show the contours of life, therefore, those who depend on their crowns to tour life, soon find life's contours too tough for their crowns! You need the ONE who has the LAYOUT of life in HIS hands! All you need is JESUS!

The path of life is extremely clumsy and confusing, you need God, before Whom fire goes, to pave the way, in order for you not to be lost or confused in this thick forest called life!

If you and I will not miss the way in this life, especially, this 2019, then you and I must walk in the fire-paved way!

The only way that is paved by (God's) fire is the only safe place and the only safe way to travel!

"A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about." Psalms 97:3

There are enemies that stand in the way, to waylay, rob, discourage and to distract wayfarers; and God is aware of their presence (on your way)! Therefore, fire goes before Him to burn them up!

Hear wise men:
"Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, TO SEEK OF HIM A RIGHT WAY for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance." Ezra 8:21

Not all ways that lead to where you are going is right!

"For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against THE ENEMY IN THE WAY: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him..."
Ezra 8:22

Knowing the way doesn't guarantee arrival/safe arrival because of the enemies in the way! Soldiers/horsemen (of the kings of the earth) cannot handle these enemies; so, don't depend on them! We have seen top military officers being wasted, despite their security details! Wise up!

There are many ways to success, which are known by many, but not all who travel the way to success succeed, simply because there is A RIGHT WAY to it! Many who do not arrive at success, despite travelling the way, are such men that fell into the hands of enemies in the way!

All ways not paved by God’s fire and travelled by God, will be infested with all manners of dangers. Therefore, travel behind God this year, not ahead of Him, lest you'll be consumed along with His enemies!

But when God travels a way, He does not only pave the way with the fire that goes before Him, He also purifies the way with the same fire, making it free and safe!

Anything that is ahead of God is considered God’s enemies! Therefore, when this fire burns, it burns all things and all men standing in front of God! It is only save to follow God from behind and not from before!

"A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies ROUND ABOUT." Psalms 97:3

I am not even sure it will be safe to stand at par with God in this journey; STAY SAFE, STAY BEHIND GOD!
