Ugh. let's go through these quickly, shall we?

Point 4 is impossible, both for reasons on Point 2 and because WA doesn't provide for further extension of transition (and EU probably can't do it anyway)

Point 5 is possible, but doesn't do anything for anything

And Point 6 is also possible (as long as you have an NI Executive to consult), but also does nothing for nothing

In sum, if some backbenchers are won over by this, then gvt should take them along for the ride, although there will be tears before bedtime
