What are the best active blogs still out there? Which deceased or comatose blogs do you miss the most? And what are some of the best blog posts you've read in the past year?
My favourite active blogs are @slatestarcodex and @ribbonfarm. There are a great many blogs I really miss, but Alan Jacobs' Text Patterns (text-patterns.thenewatlantis.com) and @_BenMyers_'s Faith and Theology (faith-theology.com) are two especially sad losses from last year.
I'd also be interested to hear some recommendations for the best barely known blogs out there.
One of the blogs I think a lot more people should be reading is @LMSacasas's The Frailest Thing (thefrailestthing.com/the-frailest-t…). Thoughtful Christian commentary on technology and society.
