One thing I love about @AOC is that she knows how to go where the people are, a surprisingly rare skill among politicians in liberal and centre-left parties.
The reality is that while twittering fools like Aaron Sorkin sniff at the "young people," these spaces where we gather *do* offer radical organising potential.

Even after everything that's happened since 2014, that remains true; perhaps more than ever.
It's vital to learn from history, but we need to remember that contemporary radical organising isn't going to look the way it did in the early 1900s, and that isn't a mark against it. These are the new spaces where power can be built.
