Ermagerd, @FrankFigliuzzi1 + @mayawiley have suggested that Judge Amy Berman Jackson could issue a gag order against Roger Stone...

Given his past tendencies towards engaging in stochastic terrorism, I would totally be behind that, even if it does play into one of his kinks.
If only she could do the same for the agents provocateurs outside...

[ Obviously, I'm good with freedom of speech + assembly... except when it's being done fraudulently to push citizens towards the ends of the horseshoe, and to allow Stone to RF his way into change(s) of venue ]
Oh, and @HallieJackson - PLEASE don't amplify what the 'protesters' are saying, because chances are, other than an occasionally wry usage of 'lock him up' on social media, nobody is going to be mirroring any of Trump's tactics with any sincerity.

Hello from the federal courthouse in DC, where Roger Stone is *not* making his first court appearance (see: buzzfeednews.com/article/chrisg…), but Paul Manafort will be going before the judge on a hearing on the special counsel's claims that he lied after signing his plea deal
Paul Manafort's hearing is underway. Manafort just entered the courtroom, walking slowly and in a stilted manner, using a cane. He is wearing a dark suit, after the judge agreed he could do that (instead of wearing a jail uniform)
Judge Amy Berman Jackson said she has not made a decision yet about whether Manafort violated his plea deal — the filings raised questions for her. She says some of govt's submissions are confusing or lack context, and some of Manafort's filings are conclusory and lack specifics

/2 Normally, at the arraignment on a superseding indictment like this one, for a person who was already charged and on bail, the arraignment would involve pleading not guilty and sorting out whether, and how, the new charge impacts bail status.
/3 Recall that Mueller already asked Judge Berman Jackson to revoke Manafort's bail based on the same obstruction allegations that form the basis for the superseding indictment. The standard at that hearing does not favor Manafort:
