1) Then write a letter to your representatives asking them to fight this with the authority they have. What the left is trying to do is to provoke you to spend a bunch of time and energy fighting a battle that they set up as an ambush for Republicans.

2) I don't just mean federal. I mean state level. Convince your state level reps that they won't be burning their political capital by opposing this, or if they support it that it will cost them far more in support than they calculated.

4) I'm not going to say the a-word in this thread, because I'm not going to give the debate oxygen. I'm going to tell you the trap that Democrats are trying to bait Republicans into.

5) Democrats want to use these bills right when the primary season is shaping up in order to shape the national debate into a wedge issue that THEY want. But there's two wedges they're going after here.

6) The first is the one between GOP and Democrats. That's the one that everyone THINKS they're going after.

The REAL wedge issue is the one between the religious right and the Trump right. THATS what they're trying to cause a wedge with.

7) The Covington smear happening a week ago isn't an accident either. Its just another play of the same overall game. Notice that the ONLY coverage the MSM gave the March for Life was around THAT incident. And what were the headlines and pictures? MAGA hat kids being racist.

8) I wish I had seen it sooner, because my Democrat boss was making that point to me repeatedly as he dragged me into conversation after conversation about it.

The problem with those kids, the reason they were picked out, was because they were wearing the MAGA hats.

9) The MSM is trying to make the rest of the GOP disavow and toss aside the MAGA-hat wearing Trump supporters. They wanted to get the March for Life-associated groups disavow the MAGA hats, to provoke a fight between the religious right and the Trump right.

10) And now? They're trying to throw up a bunch of bills at once in various states to provoke an even larger online fight, in the hopes of drawing an overreaction from the religious right to make the on average more secular Trump supporters shy away.

11) Think about it in terms of elections. If the entire national debate is framed as a battle between Democrats supporting those bills and the religious right opposing them, on the right the people who are more secular are far more likely to just check out and ignore the debate.

12) Giving it oxygen, allowing it to trend, allowing yourself to be provoked by the headlines even if its an attempt to oppose those bills in solidarity with the religious right will overall cause this suppression as the less religious feel like they don't have a dog in the fight

13) The solution? Actively boycott the keywords. Boycott the trends. Don't participate. The headlines and trends and pageclicks are giving it attention, generating revenue for the media companies who are pushing them, as they profit off of rage clicks and the like.

14) Don't let them make money off the debate, and they'll stop throwing up the headlines as its not profitable for them to do so. Don't give the debates oxygen, and it will stymie efforts to drive a wedge. Don't let Democrats decide what the hot topic of the elections will be.

15) Because, let's face it... they'd MUCH rather have an election fight over abortion than the wall.
