1/ This is not quite true. The version sent to @NPR is *not* the same as the one posted to @AOC's House website as a blog post.
2/ The now-deleted version on the website, posted on February 5, said "for example, emissions from cows"...

4/ Another example: the website version said "When FDR called on America to build 185,000 planes to fight World War 2 at a time when America was producing 3,000 planes a year, the world laughed."

5/ While the one sent to @NPR says: "...every business leader, CEO, and general laughed at him."
6/ Notably: "Economic security to all who are unable or unwilling to work" is in both versions, so whoever made that set of revisions didn't think it was worth removing the "unwilling to work" line.

Look what I found: @NPR has the original FAQs on the #GreenNewDeal from @AOC including the "unwilling to work" provision and thing about... cows. The document IDs the author of the FAQs: "Saikat Chakrabarti" (@saikatc), @AOC's Chief of Staff.

1. Okay, I'm finally sitting down to do my own #2018InReview thread. A lot has happened in my life this year. I've made concrete progress as a writer, speaker, activist, and #Exvangelical advocate.. I'm in a transitional space but feeling somewhat more hopeful about the future.
2. I think I'll go essentially chronologically. Back in January, I was teaching what would become my last semester at the University of South Florida in Tampa. I had hoped that maybe another temporary but full-time with benefits position there would come along, but it did not.
3. I was left with the choice of eking out a living as an adjunct instructor with no benefits, or moving back in with my parents in Indiana for a while to try and see if I could keep the momentum up with the popular engagement through writing, podcasts, radio, etc. I'd been doing

1. I want to say what makes me believe, that God did choose Donald Trump.

Safari Technology Preview 48 changes how Password AutoFill works. Safari will no longer automatically fill user names and passwords into forms shortly after page load to prevent sharing information without user consent.

I have a degree in philosophy. I didn't have regular access to a computer or the internet until college. At one point, I took a class (ancient Hellenistic religions, if you're curious) where the professor offered a choice for the final project:
Do some research on a topic, present it as either a 20-page paper or a 5-page website. I was a lazy college student, and it was the 90s and everyone was a web person then, so I figured "how hard could it be?"
I found some HTML tutorials, and made a five-page website. Then I kept playing with stuff, learning more HTML and CSS and JS, and the next year my advisor asked if I'd redo his staff page.
