Accurate look at the changing way of foreign reporting in the past decade. Terrifying thought that more and more many are 'reporters by Twitter,' and that foreign news covered less and less, meaning we know less and less of the world around us.
also this, totally agree @cltomlinson: "There’s something deeply colonial about the idea that only someone born in American can write a foreign news story for an American audience. I’m not sure who we are insulting more, our readers or the people who live in these countries."
