puzzled because the Wire is so very Keynesian: 'follow the money, not the drugs' reaffirms the Keynesian emphasis on the monetary economy, not the commodity.
(yes, I have been the Wire again, and still think it's brilliant, up there with Broad City, GoT and Veep).

One of the changes we made at EllisLab this year is to be less dependent on process. We have too many goals to achieve, so the prime directive is: Get results. Formal processes almost always reduce the speed at which things get done, and they can create bottlenecks
An example: In the past, anything that required design had to go through James Mathias. Problem is, in the world of web apps, nearly everything needs design. Adhering to process means that projects would sit in a queue awaiting James. Phenomenal as he is, he can't do it all.
A results-driven methodology makes each person 100% responsible for achieving the goal. Of course there can be planning, and team input, and often there is collaboration, but the end result for each goal rests on one person's shoulders.

People are allowed to make informed decisions that will be of great benefit to them, their partners and offspring, friends & community. If someone decides to travel to different place to study, work, start a family or business, for leisure, it is their choice.

Let people be.
Any place or vicinity or situation that threatens their peace of mind, safety, education, career, health, friendship, and life, should be avoided. So yes people can move from one place to another for reasons that will guarantee them safety & better options in life.

Let them be.
If you love misery, nakba and you glorify suffering, etc. that is your personal choice & mentality. Nobody is stopping you from choosing to stay & endure whatever you prefer.

Just don't call people names for wanting & choosing to pursue better opportunities while they are alive.

Here's where I always stood on consolidation questions like this: I didn't really care what the org chart looked like, so long as the one we would spend the time, $ and energy to build was better than what we had. And frankly, that's a really high bar.
So the one "for instance" everyone picked on was the video unit in PA and the one in IIP. It surprised me because very smart people often assumed that the same equipment = duplication. Which seemed dumb since it's not like we had an "Office of Computers"
