Not shockingly @RepJerryNadler @RepAdamSchiff @RepCummings @RepMaxineWaters @RepEliotEngel @RepRichardNeal send a petulant letter to AG Barr denying the findings, disregarding @TheJusticeDept @FBI (who they've said we MUST trust) demanding access to every shred of evidence.
They hilariously reference Clinton email investigation claiming 880,000 documents were released by the FBI sharing sensitive information. For some reason they left out the part about emails so highly classified Congress couldn't even see them.

Should the bill be enacted?

Well, honestly, the problem of lynching has been a real one in US history.
Democrats have been lynching African Americans in the United States for over 150 years. It is their modus operandi when they believe twilight covers their deeds. The rope and the branch, these are long-standing emblems of the KKK, the military arm of the Democratic Party.
Section Five of the Fourteenth Amendment certainly grants Congress power to enforce the due process and equal provisions of the Amendment, so it would certainly be within the scope of Congress' authority to enact some kind of legislation in this area.

I do a lot of food safety audits. That means rolling up to farms w clipboard in hand.

Farmers get real annoyed when people w clipboards annoying.

But their workers get TERRIFIED.

That's in a good year when there aren't ICE purges. This year is different.
A big part of food safety audits is talking to the folks picking & handling the food. We have to confirm that the farm's done the basic due diligence like communicating when & how to wash hands *in the right language,*" etc.
Every once in a while you'll run into a picker who's way too nervous to respond. They keep looking at their boss & not saying anything. Or if it's an orchard, a lot of pickers climb way up to pick at the very top of the tree & stay there till the inspector's gone.

1) THREAD: Why the rush? Sure, news is flying at us 100 mph, but headlines AREN’T the news. The truth is buried within. I understand people may not have the time or want to take the time to do deep research. I get it. BUT…
2) I see a lot of people sailing past information so quickly, retweeting stuff they haven’t read based on headlines. For example: the post I did yesterday about the witnesses to Clinton Foundation. Tons of people only read the headline…
3) …of the article I attached. They saw “Witnesses testifying in Clinton investigation dead” and BOOM, people are RT it as fact without even reading what I said, or reading the article itself? I was asking for proof and said the investigation has a tight lid on it.

There’s one positively enormous shoe that still hasn’t dropped in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 campaign:

The operation was more wide-ranging than many remember. It wasn’t just emails stolen, either — posted material ranged from Democratic Party turnout data a GOP operative thought was “probably worth millions of dollars” to even a purported picture of Michelle Obama’s passport.
Trump associates tried to get involved w either Russian-provided dirt, hacked Dem emails, or WL at least 6x. We don’t yet know if they were successful — but Papadopoulos has already pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about the matter, and began cooperating with Mueller’s team.

Ok, @MichaelGLFlood , I finally have a chance to address some of the things in this Yardley article. I’ll try to take the numbered points in the article one at a time. Buckle up - this is a long thread.
1st point - Yardley makes the unsubstantiated claim that discussions about transwomen are dominating feminism. Are these conversations happening? Yes. Are they dominating the discussion? Hardly. Transwomen are almost entirely absent from the mainstream gender justice agenda.
Take a look at UN Women for instance – I haven’t seen them conduct, or support, any campaigns that center transwomen. Indeed, I’ve been hard pressed to find any large feminist organizations that actively center transwomen as part of their agendas.
