At this point, @ewarren is the strongest candidate. She actually has a reason to run and is clearly able to articulate what she will do. More candidates should be clear about taking on power like Warren. There's still time.
Electorally. Warren actually understands governing and power and has been consistent. If you don't understand policy and/or are pandering, you may look good now, but after the first time you get hit you won't get off the floor.
Yes, this is true. But so far, Bernie has offered few specifics on anything but a few choice areas he already understands. You don't get to pick your spots as President. Again, there's still time, but Bernie needs to up his game.
Democratic voters are super confused about the job of President and what candidates do. They think that because Hillary was boring and liked charts that she ran a policy-focused campaign and we shoudn't do that again. Ha. It was a bunch of mushy nonsense. Policy is about power.
Bernie just has not thought through his policy framework. Demanding Amazon raise its warehouse wages to $15/hour entirely misses the point of the company's power. I mean yes it should, but the problem with cancer is not just that it's hard to find parking near the hospital.
This is not true. During the foreclosure crisis, @ewarren was one of the few figures trying to fight the Obama administration, the banks and the GOP and Democratic establishment all at once. In a crisis, I'll take Warren.
I actually think Klobuchar is spelling out a clear vision as well. Again, there's time. Kamala, Bernie, Beto, Mayor Pete, Biden, etc -- it's important to begin putting out real policies that are consistent with a track record.
