1) HUGE. The Trump Justice Dept is taking the position that a litigant can challenge the Affordable Care Act based on an imaginary burden cause by a tax of zero and that this brings down the ENTIRE law. This is not just legally indefensible; it is politically insane.
2) It should be huge news that the Trump administration is seeking to end lawful health insurance protections for every American with pre-existing conditions. Where are the GOP members of Congress who promised in 2018 to fight any attempt to end those cherished protections?
3). How can they look into the eyes of Americans who have lupus, diabetes, or breast cancer or have a child born with a birth defect -- and who will, if DOJ wins, be at the mercy of any insurance company that wants to terminate a family's coverage or make the rates unaffordable.
