THREAD. I absolutely agree with @themarketswork At times, I'm inclined to mute folks who support contrary positions with ad hominems or worse, but don't b/c even if they won't engage me & refuse to counter logically, pushback forces me to defend logically and if I can't, I 1/
2/ I need to rethink, revisit, and revise. Other times I'll read pieces which range from plausible to tinfoil-hat speculation, but which lack a lot of corroborating circumstantial information. Those pieces make me want to get to the bottom of it and have caused me to take up
3/ threads I never would have delved into. Sometimes the result is discovering evidence that disproves a reasonable inference, such as this explained here on the "our guy is talking." thefederalist.com/2018/10/19/the…
4/4 Other times the result is discovering/remembering evidence that further confirms a theory OR expands on the significance of the resulting conclusion. That's why @themarketswork point is so key: Everyone doing this in good faith benefits our country.
