Benioff and Weiss have fucked this season up. George RR Martin may have told them what key moments he planned but they fucking shat the bed.

We went through this entire arc with Bran from a kid who gets crippled to his journey beyond the wall. A journey to becoming the 3 eyed raven who can look into the past and in the case of Hodor even affect the past. What did this entire 7 season journey amount to in the end?

Spent 7 seasons waiting for the night King the white walkers and the army of the dead to reach the wall and for the great battle to start.
The resolution took 1 fucking episode.

Tyrion Lannister was built up as one the smartest people in Westeros and his grand plan to save people is basically saying "please don't do this" to Daenerys and Cersie.

We watched Daenerys go from someone who wanted revenge and the throne to also liberating slaves, becoming the saviour of the people, almost sacrificing her army to help save the world of man from the army of the dead. Then she just decides to burn innocent women and children.

I understand people saying she snapped and that there is enough shown to us throughout the show that may justify this but it feels terribly rushed. A 60+ episode character arc that changes within the space of a couple of episodes does not make for good story telling.
