I was gonna say, this wasn't picking on a citizen and his political beliefs, this was a guy who, by his own intention, tried to make a smear go viral.

Maybe I add a picture taken out of context and show her in a hospital and say "Here she is in rehab." And then it gets traction all over Rhode Island and the posters are everywhere. You think the ProJo isn't going to look into "Who's behind the Gina is a junkie" ads? /2
Of *course* they will. They'll want to know who's smearing the governor, why, and how I managed to have such reach so fast. Then, when it comes out, it'll be "here's five things to know about the guy who smeared Raimondo." /3
I'm picking a small-state example because I think that seems less crazy. Of *course* people would ask who's promoting a smear. Wouldn't you? /4x
