@Don_TEE @educatpost @KingAmeka Not €7000, it's almost 9000 now. And yes the money is to handle your expenses but you have to withdraw a certain maximum per month. But if you can get a sponsor(someone receiving a certain minimum salary), then you don't have to have this sum can be waived.
@Don_TEE @educatpost @KingAmeka Also regarding working, you get a certain limit( 120 full days) or 240 half days. That means you can work for 6 months full time (40 hours a week ) or the whole year part-time (20 hours a week). Minimum wage is about 8.5 euros per hour and students don't pay tax.
@Don_TEE @educatpost @KingAmeka Tuition is basically free but you pay a semester fee (between 100 and 400 EUR per Semester). This fee is most used to cover a semester ticket which means with your student ID you can use public transportation without charge in your city or state.
