APR 2009 to APR 2012 - Has affair he pays for with campaign cash.
AUG 2012 to OCT 2015 - Another, another (staffer), another.
AUG 2016 - OCE recommends investigation.
SEP 2016 - ANOTHER!

To emphasize: Rep. Hunter is alleged to have misused campaign funds for one of his affairs AFTER the ethics investigation began. What did he think was happening?

Let's not mention the colossal stupidity of doing all this and then taking the first opportunity to blame it on his wife.

Again, what did he think was going to happen next?

And on top of the alleged affairs and blaming his wife, what could possibly be so bad DOJ thinks it could taint the jury pool if it gets out before trial begins?

"Get-togethers with his close personal friends" is euphemizing what? Strip clubs? Hookers? I'm drawing a blank.

I mean, I'm so old I remember when it was a thing that the RNC spent cash at a WeHo strip club.

Ohhh, other detail, whatever this "close personal friends" thing is it was apparently not about "intimate personal relationships." So maybe not hookers.

All speculation, but that's one of the reasons the prosecutors are putting this stuff out now.

Rep. Hunter has been absolutely defiant, vowing to fight this to the bitter end. This is prosecutors saying, "you sure about that, bro?"
