The @DailyBeast obtained a 2011 letter Acosta wrote about why he made the non-prosecution agreement with Epstein in '08: thedailybeast.com/jeffrey-epstei…
It highlights the aggression of Epstein’s lawyers: “What followed was a year-long assault on the prosecution & the prosecutors. I use the word assault intentionally, as the defense was more aggressive than any which I, or the prosecutors in my office, had previously encountered.”
That is a very different narrative than the one Acosta put out this week at the press conference.
