Just a terrible day. In what may be the worst mass shooting ever in Texas, it's been confirmed by @NBCNews that at least 59 people were shot, with at least 19 fatalities at a WalMart in El Paso by a domestic terrorist. #elpasotx

To put that perspective, the 59 people known to have been shot (and there may be more) is more than were shot at Luby's in Killeen in 1991, Sutherland Springs in 2017, or the 1966 UT Tower Shooting. Just terrible. And yes, the thing who did that is a domestic terrorist. #elpasotx

And to make matters even worse, this domestic terrorist attack comes two days after the anniversary of the UT Tower Shooting, where 47 people were shot and 16 killed in 1966. #elpasotx

CORRECTION/UPDATE: According to TX law enforcement officials this evening, including TX Gov. Greg Abbott, 46 people were shot, not 59, though the number of those fatally injured went up from 19 (from the @NBCNews report) to 20 in this act of domestic terrorism. #elpasotx
