Dad asked me yesterday, what makes people commit these shootings?
Two things about my dad: He has dementia, and he's historically been "conservative".
I told him, Some people feel like they're being treated unfairly, and never learned how to express it in a way that's constructive.
Because saying "it's usually entitled white guys throwing a fit" would just cause more trouble than it's worth, at this point.
But only because of the dementia. If he was at full capacity, I would have said just that: Entitled white guys throwing a fit.
I don't care if he's old. If you're too old to see facts, you're too old to participate in the governance of the country.
