/ I feel like I should clarify my stance on what Tom says here since posting it doesn't mean I agree with everything said. That being said, what I'm about to say is my personal opinion and not a Scientific statement of any kind. I also apologize in advance if it offends anyone.
/ Let's start with what we know about our least common ancestor, which is the being that branched off into monkeys, Humans and other primates. This being lived only 7 million years ago, can you imagine that? That people like Einstein were indistinguishable from chimpanzees 7m
/ years ago. That is nothing in terms of evolutionary time scales: scientificamerican.com/article/fossil…

No other species on the planet has evolved as rapidly as we have, as evolution does not change an entire species so quickly. Yet we have Scientists bickering with each other all day long
/ about what may have caused such a rapid evolution, with no Scientist agreeing with the other's theory. Frankly this is because they're ALL wrong. And they'll never be able to come up with the right mental gymnastics to explain our rapid evolution so long as they keep ignoring
/ The concept that we could have been genetically engineered to evolve this fast. We will never see another species evolve as fast as we did because it's not natural, and I believe one day the idea that we were tampered with will be Science fact, not Science fiction. The question
/ Then becomes: why?Why would someone genetically engineer a dumb primate that had nothing better to do but swing through trees and eat bananas all day, into something that's capable of doing quantum physics, building nuclear weapons and writing complex ballads in <7million yrs?
/ The answer in my opinion, is still WAY too complex for us to understand. It's not exactly the same, but it would be similar to trying to explain to a lab rat what the point of one's scientific experiment being conducted on them was for. Even if the Scientist tried to explain it
/ The lab rat just woudnt have the brain or experiences to be able to understand the experiment. What differentiates us from a lab rat though, is that our intelligence is forever growing. Our creativity and empathy knows no bounds, and we can conceptualize much more than something
/ that isn't sentient or self aware. With that in mind, what do you do when you've created a sentient creature that was once dumb and unaware just a few million years ago?Do you choose to tell it about extraterrestrials, advanced Science and philosophy? If you did, those sentient
/ beings would no longer have a unique identity of their own. If everything was spoon fed to them, they would just become a pseudo-copy of the race that created them, except dumber, confused and with no morale to move forward or build their own societies. It would ruin the
/ experiment and any chance of the newly engineered species from developing its own identity, from righting the wrongs that the original "creator race" may have made in their own cultural and technological evolution. But you need them to advance anyway, without telling them the
/ full truth. How do you give us Science and the idea of civilizations without admitting to all the other stuff you don't want them to know about just yet? The obvious answer is myth making. The obvious answer is to parade around as Gods. The engineered species (us) will accept
/ crucial knowledge required for a civilization to quickly develop in a way that it develops rocket science in less than 15,000 years. In order to go from not dominating the entire planet 15k years ago, to dominating the entire planet as we have right now, we needed our basics
/ down pat. We needed structured, symbolic language, mathematics and the concept of agriculture and civilization ingrained in us, but again, without being told about ET. Thus it's not so surprising that intelligent races that "made us" would hide behind the guise of religion
/ After reading that reddit post, I got curious about the overlaps of religions, specifcally Greek and Hindu mythology and found this: quora.com/What-are-simil…

There are undeniable overlaps. Each crucial component of building a cilization that will go onto develop rocket sci
/ has a God that represents that component. God of War (which accelerates Technological develoment), God of Love (which promotes monogamy and family building), God of Wisdom etc. Religion is no doubt, the best control mechanism man has ever known. It keeps people fearful and
/ in the dark. It also builds factions among us that proliferate ideologies faster than any other. Most of the world is still religious. Every single one of us has been affected by Religion even if you're atheist, it's unavoidable. Our lives are heavily influenced by other ppl's
/ choices. People will literally marry exclusively within their own religion sometimes, I've been negatively affected by this and noticed how much it made me dislike a specific religion when I had no negative or positive thoughts about them. This "us vs them" mentality keeps us
/ dumbed down. It prevents us from communicating and getting to the truth of things. We now have a country system that divides us but the idea is the same. Each individual is religious about their country to an extent, and the idea of "humanism" gets thrown out the window. We're
/ American before we're a Human. We're Canadian before we're human. We're rich before we're Human. We're men and women before we're human. Imagine if every country in the world right now decided to say, "Screw it. No more secrets and no more war or diviseness. Let's share our
/ resources and problems as one human race". We would get to the bottom of which "extraterrestrials" are on our side within a day.Climate change would become a solvable problem and we could advance our technology must faster by sharing our scientific and technological resources
/ But it won't happen. The damage has been done. We've been dumbed down and convinced that the only life we can know is one where every country or faction is fighting for the same resources, as if our external traits make us different. As if we're not all on the same boat.
/ The day that changes, we become a force to reckon with. We become uncontrollable by civilizations that are more intelligent than us and want us to play their game. I don't beleive they feed off our "negative emotions" as if it's energy. Negative scenarios promote stress which
/ promote a species to think harder and adapt to the situation, to evolve so to speak. So if they are interested in negative scenarios,it's because it's only another way of making us evolve in a certain direction when we wouldn't have otherwise (in the same direction they want)
/ but I don't think that's the case anyways. I think the situation is too complex to say the UFO phenomena is good or bad. It just..is. And frankly I would rather be typing this than to be a monkey jumping up and down as we were 7 million years ago. So there's that. In any case
/26 we will have to communicate and be a 100% honest society. No human should be treated like they're an "other". We need to come together as one species and ensure that we don't get wiped out by someone who got bored of their experiment and wants to start over. The end.
