Last Saturday, hundreds of thousands marched through London to ask for a second referendum on #brexit. It was announced from the platform that more than a million had taken part. There were certainly a lot.

Good morning, everyone. I'd like to share a few personal stories about why people of color bristle at folks who show sympathy (just a little bit) to racists. I won't be naming names as it is not necessary and I want this to be constructive.

I hope we can all learn from this.
Most of you know I travel to eastern Europe often and I have lived in the region for more than 4 years, with Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and other ex-Soviet states being my main stumping grounds. I have also met a lot of immigrants from there who have moved here.
As a black American who travels to eastern Europe often and writes about race for a living, I can tell you that, for example, Jewish people, do indeed have a unique story of escaping totalitarian regimes that tolerate anti-semitism and seek better lives here in the US.

i woke up in a panic from a nightmare that another one of my favorite nazi was having a hearing at the same time in another courtroom today. nothing will quiet that fear except quickly reading the full day's docket for both county & city courts.
perjury can be difficult to prosecute, but in this case there is video evidence of the incident in question about which kessler gave a false statement to the magistrate.

black lives matter. all cops are bastards.
i’m late for court & my bones hurt. probably slap a content warning for rape & police violence on everything that comes after this.
lunch break. this morning, judge moore started by saying barring black lives matter shirts from his courtroom is not about restricting free speech, it’s about the right to a fair trial superseding the right to express oneself.
he says BLM shirts in the gallery for this case (a white cop sexually assaulting a black woman in her home on TWO occasions) might influence the jury. buddy, if the idea that black people’s lives have value is gonna a sway your jury, y’all have picked a very bad jury.
