2/ Bloc québécois leader @yfblanchet WELCOMES a Far Left extremist as candidate in his party.

Media reaction = mostly ignore it
3/ NDP leader @theJagmeetSingh and MP @nikiashton PRAISE a communist dictator and killer.

Media reaction = ignore it.
4/ Both @AndrewScheer and @JustinTrudeau meet and discuss issues with Islamist extremists who promote sharia law and wife-beating.

Media reaction = ignore it.
5/ Conclusion: THE MEDIA DON’T CARE ABOUT EXTREMISM.

They care about enforcing political correctness and smearing anyone who doesn’t play their stupid game.

Remember this next time you read a hit piece about the PPC by a left-wing activist masquerading as a journalist.

1/ Another unprofessional and intellectually dishonest CBC “journalist,” @JonGatehouse, claims to have refuted a key part of my speech on immigration by selectively quoting from it and making me say something I did not say.
2/ He writes: Per Bernier, that means "only 26 per cent of all the people who come to Canada every year actually fulfil our economic needs," and that the remainder are "dependents" who "may not master any of our official languages, or are too young or too old to work."
3/ This gives the impression I said that 74% of immigrants – those who are not directly chosen on the basis of their skills and work qualifications, but come as spouses, children, under family reunification, or as refugees – are ALL dependent children or seniors who won’t work.

1/ Diane Francis offers several good arguments against accepting 1M immigrants in the next 3 years, as the Trudeau government is planning to do.

But our leftist elites don’t want a rational discussion. Their only argument is that it’s “racist” to want lower immigration levels.
2/ Francis: “This 1M — half of whom are family immigrants and not economically free-standing immigrants — is unsustainable. Equivalent to the population of both Ottawa and Edmonton, that’s a lot of health care, educational costs, infrastructure pressure, and housing shortages.”
3/ Francis: “The Liberals claim that the huge increase in immigration is required to fill skills shortages. But nearly half of those admitted won’t be working, perhaps ever, and wouldn’t qualify to be admitted as economic immigrants with skills.”

One thing confuses me - seems apparent Trump was told to run for office as early as 2013 Miss Universe or earlier, so why did Manafort talk his way onto campaign in the middle. Why wasn't Putin already directing it? My theory is Trump wasn't Putin's only GOP candidate....
Russia plays a long game & was cultivating Trump as early as late '80s under Soviets, but they'd be foolish to put all eggs in 1 basket. Seems likely they'd have cultivated others. GOP field was large & perhaps Manafort gets sent to Trump when he emerges as most likely contender.
I find is striking how many GOP - both those who ran as candidates in 2016 & those who didn't - have Russian connections. Remember the video where Roy Moore of Alabama spoke fluent Russian? He can barely speak fluent English, but he's got Russian down pat.
