We need gun reform to keep our families safe. Gun violence and gun reform can’t just be a topic we discuss in the aftermath of a mass shooting.
Even as our nation appropriately focuses on the horror of what happened in El Paso and Dayton, we must also stand with communities who face gun violence daily. inquirer.com/crime/guns-vio…
My bill, Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act, would ensure that these communities have the support they need to recover from daily gun violence and manage their long term needs. We must pass commonsense gun violence reform now.

I support the impeachment of @realDonaldTrump
My concerns about the President’s conduct have grown over months, particularly as I thoroughly reviewed Special Counsel Mueller’s report. President Trump’s most recent actions with regard to Ukraine have created new urgency to take action
Given this clear abuse of power, I believe I have an obligation to outline the conduct, both during the Russian investigation and the Ukraine matter, that is within the well-established definition of the “high crimes and misdemeanors”

The Trump Administration has gone to great lengths to suppress climate science in order to downplay the threat of climate change. We must act on the serious threat of climate change and that begins with respecting science
This Administration’s failure to promote its own USDA researchers’ climate science hurts our farmers, ranchers and rural communities. Additionally, the reckless relocation of ERS and NIFA is already causing a loss of expertise and a disruption of critical research.

This is probably the most common argument heard from gun advocates. It’s true that guns can’t kill by themselves & DO indeed need someone to pull the trigger... Guns don’t kill people, but allow someone who WOULD kill much easier, faster, more lethal means for killing. #GunReform

...I've witnessed gun violence in our state and community in all its gruesome horror. It has decimated communities, torn apart families, and ripped a hole through the fabric of our children’s lives. And they are never the same. We know we need to take action.
But we cannot fully address the problem if we don't first understand its full scope. Ending gun violence isn’t just about making it harder for certain people to access weapons. Gun violence has socioeconomic, racial, and gender elements that cannot be ignored.
