I know many think I'm for Beto⁠⁠—I'm not⁠⁠, I just hate sloppy media coverage of him—but it seems worth noting that, of 25 candidates, besides two African American pols, the first African American POTUS's VP, and the 2016 runnerup, Beto's the most popular in that demographic.
PS/ To be candid, my concern about Beto's media coverage centers on the fact that there are two implicit races happening right now: POTUS and VPOTUS. Beto is much higher in the VPOTUS race than you think, and I don't want sloppy media coverage wrongly damaging our VPOTUS nominee.
PS2/ Now that I've said that, I hope folks will put aside the popular he's-a-secret-Beto-supporter attack. I like Beto a lot, but my favorite candidate at the moment—whose name I've no plans of mentioning—is someone else. I've always said I don't want to endorse/back anyone here.
PS3/ I'll say too that—for whatever reason—our very white media corps has a hard time discussing white men who are at all popular among African American voters. It's almost always "he's tied to Obama" (Biden) or "he has high name-recognition" (Sanders). OK—so how to explain Beto?

1/ I *will* say that the one warning sign in *any* article on the "Trump-Russia scandal" is when someone calls it "Russiagate." Very, *very* early on (late 2016 and early 2017) that name was "tried on" by analysts, but pretty quickly it became a code-word for Trumpist denialists.
2/ The topic is the "Trump-Russia scandal." "Russiagate" isn't a thing—much like "political correctness" is more a catchphrase for the right than a phrase that uses either the word "political" or the word "correctness" with fidelity to their definition. So—that needs to be clear.

If you're like me, you're currently sitting here wondering "Given the salience of the gun epidemic in the US, where do the 2020 candidates stand?" I decided to put together a nice, long tweetstorm with as much info as I could find on the candidates positions. Here we go:
Important notes: I am going in no order, but I am going to focus on the top 10 candidates. Biden, Booker, Buttigeg, Castro, Gillibrand, Harris, Klobuchar, O'Rourke, Sanders, & Warren. I'm basing that on quick glances at polling data as available at 6:30am w/ one cup of coffee.

Seems worth noting wikipedia has no article on "concentration camps." It has an article on "Nazi concentration camps," and an article on "internment" which states that "concentration camp" is a pejorative the present-day use of which is debatable.
Wikipedia is not an authority.

But it does help reveal how users of a specific language conceive of ideas in practice.

And in practice, there is no use of "concentration camp" which is not, in public usage, synonymous with "killing millions of people," except...
If you're just using it as a pejorative subset for "internment or detention," which is the term actually used in law, including relevant conventions on human rights.

Seems worth noting that longstanding precedent in the 4th Circuit recognizes that list of juror names ordinarily should be public in a criminal trial. See In Re Baltimore Sun Co, 841 F.2d 74 (4th Cir. 1988).
It's not a bright-line rule, see fn 5, but it's not like the media organizations are trying to establish a new norm in the Manafort case. From the 4th Circuit case:
