I’m going to interject here that the biggest problem Philly PD has right now is too many fucking cops with too many fucking guns. It’s a mess. And right now with a guy holed up shooting, all those guys with all those guns is a real issue. #IMHO

So, basically, two guys holed up in a house with prisoners. They’re barricaded in, shooting at the gazillion cops. DHS hostage negotiator being called.

Okay. They are actually getting organized, likely because feds are taking over. First thing: sending almost everyone BACK TO WORK. Because DUH.

They’ve got the GF & are trying to see if they/she can see the suspect from their feed. Again, I’m not particularly optimistic w/ this group & tech.

GF says they have “several AR’s” +other guns. There’s a cop inside the house. (For those w/ ham: Narcotics x3) Setting up the livestream. Diversifying info via freq so instead of being ground level I’m at 1,000 ft now😭

Okay, so I’ve actually been able to peek at tv a sec now and even with all the chatter of officers “inside the home” I did not know that those officers were the hostages. For all you actually can *hear* there’s absolutely no context, so... Thanx @HuckSlims #PhiladelphiaShooting

About to release the names locations and conditions of all the officers (shot)

They’re (finally) seriously making sure the radio is locked down. They have to be super tight because they’re using the radio to communicate w/ him. Our well went dry. Bye. #Phillyshooting
