You know what's crazier than the Democrats proposal to make people stop eating meat? That every one of those frauds eat meat. I think booker is the only vegetarian in the group. Nothing worse than a hypocrite .

Conservatives , what exactly are we conserving? On so many issues we have moved to the left and become Democrats light.

I don't ask this question to shame you or bash you, but to ask ourselves at what point do we draw a line in the sand and truly fight for what we hold dear.
Winning an election isn't enough. Getting our people in office isn't enough. We had a Republican house and Senate with a Republican President and yet our gun rights are being attacked more than ever. Our freedom of speech is being taken away. Our Government keeps growing.
Families are under attack. Traditional roles in the family are being attacked. Degeneracy abounds and things that were anathema even 10 years ago are now openly celebrated and embraced.

I am a conservative, and as a conservative the main problem in our movement is the people that have been given power to lead or to have strong voices all end up selling us out or capitulating to the left.
We tolerate cucks like Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, & Ben Shapiro & then we wonder why the left runs roughshod on us. If people like this had their way, Hillary would be President.

I fear we are making the same mistake with Dan Crenshaw. He sounds good but dude caters to the left.
Having good ideas is not enough anymore. We need men and women with guts. People who understand the times we live in and will fight passionately and tenaciously. We need Pit-Bulls who will lock in on the values we hold dear and won't ever let go.

Why call yourself a conservative if you don't conserve anything? If you always concede ground to the left? If you don't have any traditions and values worth fighting for? If you just go with the flow and accept anything and everything?
My biggest pet peeve in politics is Republicans and Conservatives that think that we win by catering to the left, By becoming liberals light. Nope ! We win by digging our heels in and becoming unapologetically right wing. By fighting for and articulating our values , brazenly!
The 2 biggest political upsets in the world came from 2 men who never apologized in the face of the leftist mob. Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro. Both men spoke truths that were politically incorrect but true nonetheless, and never apologized for speaking them.

One of the things I learned growing up with seven siblings is that we are far more unreliable as narrators than we think.

There are family events where our versions of what happened are so wildly divergent that it’s hard to believe we were at the same place.
And this holds true even for events that are not particularly emotionally charged.
This is one of those areas that fiction tends to flatten—readers would be confused if Protagonist A remembered something very different (but nonmaterial) happening than Protagonist B.

When it happens once in a book, it’s a Big Misunderstanding.

I’m president of a women-led, progressive political group that formed after the 2016 election. One of the things we do is endorse candidates in local races.
This year, we made a PAC so we could spend money to support those candidates. We were thrilled that our friend who just opened an inclusive, feminist sex shop wanted to hold a fundraiser for our PAC. The event was tonight.
After the testimony of Dr. Blasey Ford today, we were especially looking forward to an empowering evening where we celebrated sexual agency as a political act.

Know what people don't realize? The consequences that come with labeling someone, something they're not. Even if #Kavanaugh is proven innocent, the label itself will stick with him the rest of his life.

When I was 12. Maybe 13. I had one good friend that I hung out with. Day In and Day Out. We were inseparable. He stayed with me, I stayed with him. For some reason, even though he was the one who was considered the "bad kid", his parents never really liked me.....cont.
He got in trouble at a young age and was sent away. To where, I've never known. His little brother, a couple years younger, used to get bullied all the time. While my friend was away, I stuck around and protected the little brother. Even stayed and hung out a couple times...cont.

Despite big wins on election day for #Democrats, a small group of people continue to argue for major changes to the party through the Dem Unity Commission. Some proposed changes are getting rid of superdelegates and more caucuses. Let's discuss what these changes could mean /1
One proposed change is to remove super delegates from the primary nominating process for president. Supers are mostly elected representatives and major party members who can vote for whomever they want at the convention /2 dailykos.com/stories/2008/2…
Super delegates have never overturned the popular vote but do provided a fail-safe option in case the party needs them (Trump anyone?). They also help diversity in delegates because people dont need to compete w/ elected reps to go to the convention /3
