How do I contact the Nobel Prize committee? This battery pack has a USB-A port that accepts either orientation. Mind completely blown, life unalterably changed now.

Hmm. It turns out law professors, which, due to some sort of clerical error I apparently am, can submit nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize.
People are literally taking time to explain to me why an improved USB port connector isn’t appropriate for a Nobel Prize.

Those people are, obviously, wrong.

Update: Ms. Killa was a sweet looking girl of about 17 who arrived on a bicycle. Pizza still hot, I’m still alive.
I think Mr and Mrs Killa may have done their daughter a disservice with that first name.

Among the nonsensical things the trollbots attack with, “you’re just saying that to get attention”. Yes. That’s the purpose of saying things.
Anyway, it may be obvious, but I’ll point it out just in case. You can unfollow someone by clicking pn the “unfollow” button. No one is forcing you to read this.
What’s interesting to me is that the latest round of trollbots aren’t using the old aggressive MAGA posturing, but just being absurdly picky, arguing with word choices, demanding rigid adherence to orthodoxy, etc. easy to spot, but different from before.

Ito resigns. Good, even if overdue. But this doesn’t eliminate the underlying questions of culture, values, and abuse under which he served.
Worth noting that Ito resigned not just as director of the Media Lab, but also as a professor. So this was apparently a complete severing of his ties with MIT, not just his position in the lab.
“Does this prestigious department I’m considering have ties to creepy pedophiles” is not one of the academic job search considerations one usually thinks about, but times have changed, clearly.

I feel like it is only right to recreate my thread appreciating the gun detail in certain movies, holding them up as examples when so many are full of Hollywood bullshit
Starting off with the greatest shootout ever committed to cinema: the bank robbery in HEAT

We actually use this footage in some police departments and military branches to teach proper reloading technique, because Val Kilmer's gun manipulations are perfect.
The most realistic part of this scene is when Al Pacino et al. are walking down the street armed to the teeth and like nobody is paying them any attention.

Only when the shots start flying do people freak out, most people have zero situational awareness.

What of Mileva Marić-Einstein?
Mileva Marić-Einstein was Albert Einstein's wife. She was the only woman in the Physics department at Zurich Polytechnic when Albert Einstein studied.

In fact, she was the only person to score higher than Einstein in mathematics at the entrance exam. Such was her brilliance.
