Incumbency helps - ppl *feel* that their ABVP campus leader may help them personally by seeking favors from their own BJP govt.

Often, ppl throw in their lot with the oppressor because they feel that the alternative party might not have the clout to get things done for them.

What ppl need to see is that the alternative - @nsui - can hit the streets, lobby the media, pressure the govt., & even hold the system hostage for students.

To defeat them, u need to make EVERY sane student feel they’re a part of a larger cause & that you’ll shake up the system if needed to achieve what’s needed. (4/8)
An average ABVP karyakarta knows that he has access to an MP of their party (thru a clearly defined org structure).

It needs to eliminate self-important and vested “gate-keepers”. (7/8)
NSUI has an able leadership that can defeat the ABVP.
But it can do so only when it makes every worker feel they’re an important cog in a bigger wheel.(8/8)
