If I tweet what I have in mind, I’m absolutely sure that another phantom treason charge will be filed. Not that I care though but it goes without saying that this could have been better handled by the PR team. Nigeria is better than this & you failed the President here. Period!
This right here demonstrates a total disconnect from society and lack of awareness of what actually goes on in the country as regards the populace. There is no humanity or life in this response to show the President is aware he’s got the highest population of youth in Africa.
This dearth of understanding and lapses in intellectual fecundity demonstrate globally that our President has no plan for the populous youth of his nation that is if he is actually aware humans live in Nigeria. There are better ways to manage this without shaming us all. 😞
The question was deliberately made easy with the needed rails & handicaps necessary to make answering easy for a grade 5 student. U already should know 70% of your 190Million population fall within the age range of 15-35 which shows the strength of the workforce of your country.
It was meant to be a lively dialogue where you literally take them on a journey through your connection, understanding and reach to the hearts and minds but that opportunity was lost for good. I would have recommended he called in sick. It wouldn’t have made any difference. 🚶🏿♀️
Going forward, I believe it is time the President get introduced to the Nigerian youth properly as against what is faintly recorded insignificantly within his subconscious. They’re the future of Nigeria & without them there’s no Nigeria. You can’t enjoy power & loathe the youth!
Each time you are asked questions like this the world is giving you an opportunity to sell the future of your country and why the world should take you seriously going forward. But as emasculated by inferiority complex you got sandbagged by the need to sound politically correct.
You went off tangent to paint an unrealistic future about climate change et al as if that matters to the 70% youth population. Who are deliberately impoverished, oppressed, unemployed, underemployed and out of school. We must snap out of this costly pretense & be truly sovereign.
