Enjoying @laurent_fintoni's musical highlights of the past decade but as someone who kinda made their name with a remix LP in 2010, I feel like I need to give the art of the remix LP a bit of a nod here, so here's a few which influenced me way before the 00s...
@laurent_fintoni 1982. League Unlimited Orchestra - Love & Dancing. Synth-pop classics, twisted, decomposed and dubbed by Martin Rushent and gang whilst the Human League were off being pop stars 
@laurent_fintoni 1987. Madonna - You Can Dance. The versions of Into The Groove and Where's The Party are particularly special I love this LP so much I even gushed about it over at @TheVinylFactory thevinylfactory.com/features/madon…
@laurent_fintoni @TheVinylFactory 1988. BDP - Man & His Music. Touted as a tribute, but no doubt a bit of a cash in on B-Boy owner Bill Kamarra's part. A lot of megamixes but some nicely dissected versions by Red Alert, Freddy Fresh and I've no idea who's behind this remix of Advance
@laurent_fintoni @TheVinylFactory 1990. Renegade Soundwave - In Dub. The point where rave, dub, hip hop and indie intersected, and still hardly anyone raves about what a watershed moment this was. It's hard to even decipher what some of these are remixes of
@laurent_fintoni @TheVinylFactory 1992. Holger Hiller - Demixed. No doubt off the back of RSW In Dub. German post-punk polymath gets a similar(ish) rework at the hands of AJ from RSW/3 Wize Men, and in this case, the mysterious "Steve"
@laurent_fintoni @TheVinylFactory 1994. Galliano - A Thicker Plot. Their 3rd LP gets reworked by the likes of DJ Krush, Congo Natty and even The Roots. There's a nice X-Project dub mix but here's the full jungle version

@laurent_fintoni @TheVinylFactory 1997. Primal Scream - Echo Dek. The Primal's reigns were handed over to Adrian Sherwood here for a rotten, growly, bleeping onslaught of dub filth. A nice royalty-haemorrhaging 5x 7" boxset too!
