2. Up until LAST THURSDAY the consistent GOP talking point was that Trump's conduct wasn't impeachable because there was NO QUID PRO QUO

Even Lindsay Graham, in an interview last Tuesday, said he would consider impeachment if there was a quid pro quo

3. Then, on Thursday, Trump's Chief of Staff, Mick Mulvaney EXPLICITLY SAID THERE WAS A QUID PRO QUO

He was give multiple opportunities to clarify. It was not a slip of the tongue. And Mulvaney was recounting conversations he had with Trump.

4. Mulvaney has absolutely no explanation for his his comments. He went on Fox News Sunday and said he never said there was a quid pro quo. Then Chris Wallace played a video of him confirming it. He has nothing.

NOTHING

Republicans still don't support impeachment even though the White House has admitted there was a quid pro quo.

The creation of the new "News Section" also shows that Facebook is not a neutral "free speech platform." Instead, Facebook is making judgments about what is trustworthy news and what is not. And, in its judgment, Breitbart is the type of news people should see more.
I asked Facebook for the list of included news orgs as well and have not yet heard back.

For now, it's secret.

How can people trust this source of news without knowing what publications will contribute?

Trump has been unable to run the same playbook on SDNY that he’s used to erode faith in Mueller.

Legal circles are also buzzing over whether SDNY might buck DOJ guidance & seek to indict a sitting president. (TBF he’s a Russian agent not an actual president, so... 🤷🏻‍♀️)

If Democrats want to win in 2020, preaching won't do. They must embody being "a party for people with multiple jobs, not multiple homes; a party of carried boxes, not carried interest."

-- Has a net worth of less than a million

-- Has worked but never been a CEO

-- Has a small donor base

-- Is not a billionaire, nor tied to billionaires personally or professionally

-- Is an organizer

-- Didn't give problematic paid speeches
I'm not subtweet-advocating for anyone. I don't even know who meets these standards -- perhaps no one. But I do believe Democrats need to focus more on the lives people have lived and what has filled their calendars as the measure of their vision for America.

The sell off that's occurred over the last quarter has not been isolated to crypto. The S&P 500 erased a 9% YTD gain to be flat on the year. The Nasdaq index retraced 18% over the course of 3 months (before bouncing off the low).
But of course no market has hurt more than the crypto market. January's market cap of $830 bn has crumbled to roughly an eighth of that. Much of this unwind has happened over the last few weeks, with the crypto market as a whole getting marked down 40% in the last month alone.
