One of the worst things with Trump's corruption is corruption of the ideas of "rule of law" and "due process". They claim these are not being followed, but they are. They claim the impeachment proceedings are illegitimate, but they are completely legitimate.
The rule of law is being followed. They are following the rules as set forth in the Constitution and the law.
Due process is being followed. The House is investigating the corruption, and Trump will get to confront/challenge everything when the case is put before the Senate.

It's not whether you agree/disagree with impeaching Trump. The same could be said of the Clinton impeachment. The actions of the Republicans impeaching Clinton were just as legitimate as the Democrats impeaching Trump.
Even if you think Trump's corruption doesn't merit being removed from office, you'd still have to agree that the House's/Democrat's are legitimate legal and constitutional exercise of their powers.
