#SupremeCourt starts hearing #DelhiPollution case, observas #Delhi is choking while the #Delhi Govt and Centre is simply passing the buck to each other.
"People aren't safe even inside their houses rooms. This can't happen in a civilised country. Why are people still burning stubble? And the Govt doesn't do anything about it," remarks Justice Arun Mishra.

#SupremeCourt remarks that if people can't stop brining crops L, can't think of #pollution, then they cannot claim other rights as well.

Aren't the states also liable if crop burning goes on, says the #SupremeCourt.

"It is a tort and all officials, to the level of gram pradhans, should be held accountable. We must do something now..what's the administration left in #Punjab, #Haryana," adds the court.

"People are dying..more people will die but those at helm seem interested only in gimmicks. We will supervise this matter now. Crop stubble burning must stop immediately and all states must do everything to stop it," comments the #SupremeCourt.

Of 527 pages on acquittal of Tarun Tejpal, #Goa judge Kshama M Joshi has used around 400 pages, dissecting testimony of the complainant in arriving at how an 'educated journalist' should've known whether she 'pulled up' her underwear or 'picked up'.
Goa court scans the complainant's phone & messages to note that "it was entirely the norm" for her to have flirtatious relationships & sexual conversations with friends & acquaintances.
Since she refused to give access to her email citing concerns of privacy when her phone details had already been used to humiliate her over her personal details, #Goa judge holds that she "wants to hide something."
