In other depts of BHU too appointments happen in more or less in a similar manner. But this is related to Dharma & Shashtras and teaching which is the sole right of Brahmins(irrespective of whether u consider it by birth or by Karma).
It came to my mind too. That Chaturvedi too might have RSS backing and connection. Rajasthan se aa ke BHU mein wo bhee Sanskrit Dept mein faculty ban jana. Aur phir Rajasthan se Sulle ko le aana, all this can't be a coincidence.
