1) CNN started pretty slow today with almost all impeachment stuff and a bizarre segment on Philly cops singing karaoke, but as day went on it became pretty clear that their talking points were to try to help Joe Biden which they probably had to agree to in order to get Biden to
2) sit down for an interview with Don Lemon which they kept hyping as airing tonight, and which given that it’s with Don Lemon is probably a PR video for Biden, and it resulted in a semi-hilarious interview with Jake Tapper and Mayor Pete where Tapper went after Pete pretty hard
3) About his lack of support with black voters and even bringing up his self inflicted issues last week. My favorite part tho, was probably the following:
4) Actually my favorite part was when the interview started and Pete released he was walking into a bit of an ambush which he probably wasn’t expecting from CNN.

5) And yes that was an ad for their Joe Biden interview on the right side of the screen as Tapper torched Pete. The segment was then followed up by a segment on Biden where they painted Biden in a good light saying he welcomed Bloomberg/Deval and they can bring it on.
6) Biden did mock Patrick having no attendance this weekend, which I’ll admit was funny, but of course they didn’t talk about Biden having people chant deport them and to vote for Trump last night. The panel afterwards basically all kissed his butt too.
7) “People underestimate how beloved (Biden) is and... they like him”. Just absurd how much they’ll kiss Biden’s butt in exchange for an interview. Total example of access journalism, give us access Biden, and we (CNN ) will push propaganda for you
8) Same thing on Burnett‘s show with the only 2020 coverage being her promoting Biden’ s interview that night 
9) Joe Lockhart is so clueless that he thinks Bloomberg entering the race will help Biden...
10) Over on MSNBC we had nothing during the 1 pm hour followed by an interview with Booker and inexplicably with Bennett as the corporate media continues to allow him to get air time. Neither interview had anything that stood out tho. Nothing else from 2 pm hour
11) Nothing during 3 pm hour other than Ali Velshi mentioning he doesn’t have a Tik Tok Account. 4 on hour was all Trump/impeachment as well
12) MTP Daily was all impeachment/Trump until the final 10 mins where they had segment pumping up Biden a bit as well. Really looks like the recent Emerson poll with Bernie tied for lead has scared the corporate media a bit. Even msnbc was playing clips of Biden’s CNN interview
13) Chris Matthews literally ran a segment highlighting his favorite Obama and Biden moments from Obama’s term. He then interviewed the author of the book, “Barack and Joe“ and It was so out of place and unprompted that any question about whether the media had a talking point or
14) a directive to elevate Biden was taken away. Just disgustingly transparent pro-Biden stuff as they are clearly terrified that Bernie is going to win this thing. Leave it to Matthews to be so unsophisticated and stupid as to push his propaganda in a way that anyone could see
15) The same interview was then followed with a mini-segment where they claimed that Biden doesn’t have gaffes, he just suffers from stuttering....
16) Despite having @ZephyrTeachout oj for an interview, Chris Hayes entire show was impeachment which I guess is the best we could hope for seeing as the edict was apparently push Biden if you are going to cover Democrats

@ZephyrTeachout 19) gaffes, looking for Biden to play along, but Biden is too stubborn and wouldn’t. Biden came off super cocky and he’s out of his mind if he thinks he’s winning Iowa, and “Way ahead in Nevada”. He also called out Bernie and actually dared him to find an example of corruption
20) that took place during the Obama presidency. There was literally no real push back at any point in the interview and it was followed by a panel of Biden support Joe Lockhart and Nis Malik Henderson, 2 of the worst anti-Bernie people on CNN btw, and what a surprise...
21) They thought it was Biden’s best interview to date and offered no pushback on anything Biden said. Pete’s apparently done and this is back to a Biden vs Bernie race as far as they’re concerned, tho they’d never actually say that as it would give Bernie credit, but it’s clear
