Wait till they see the @Amazon ad with the two lesbians running into each others' arms and kissing that's on every network, or the @GreyGoose vodka ad with two black lesbians dancing and kissing or....It must be hard for these folks to live in the real world.
Also, "One Million Moms" is more like a few hundred bigoted moms you should never let your kids near. Their website and the campaign against LGBTQ people is really vile. Imagine your life is so empty of meaning you have to fill it with harming others.
And maybe if I had had some lesbian Hallmark movies to watch as a teenager I wouldn't have tried to kill myself at 16 like nearly half of LGBTQ youth do now, as I reported here.

This thread.📌 Wow. The bullying I endured in Catholic school for being the geeky smart girl was gutting. This abuse stays with you. Make sure the kids in your life know YOU know this sh*t happens and that it is TERRIBLE. Don't handwave it or say it's not that bad. Be an ally.
I ran this mentoring/writing group for middle grade kids for a decade. They all needed to write out their miseries. Fifth graders can be brutal to each other. And that stuff gets in your head and stays there forever. Kids need to know that it's real and their pain is not "silly."
We have to remember these are the years kids start self-medicating, cutting, having disordered eating or other self-harming behaviors. It's more common in girls, but boys have a harder time talking about it. There is a lot of kid/tween/teen pain we can help to mitigate.

This piece is wholly uncritical of Perez with not one voice interviewed about his tenure, which is frankly astonishing. Not one word about how he had pledged to be DNC chair full time and is not. But it is revealed that Biden pushed hard for his being chair.
This long piece finds time to do a negative tangent on Pete Buttigieg, who it also states was the only one running for chair who raised money. But there is not a single sentence about the DNC being flat broke since Hillary Clinton stopped raising money for them.

I'm not a fan of his music, exactly, but he was fabulous on SNL--really into every skit. Very funny. Defintely exuded real
charm. The message here is a good one: be authentic, be nice, be honest, don't screw people over.
Plus I honestly think it's beneficial to society that there are more gender nonconforming people because a hella lot of lesbians in my life got the crap beaten out of them for the same and I'd like to see that ended forever.
