How do you assess Parnas’ credibility? To the extent he’s a defendant in a criminal case & says things prosecutors can use against him, that makes him seem trustworthy. But everything he says must be corroborated.
In many instances he seems to assume people like Pence or Barr knew what was going on & the reasons for that need to be developed & corroborated.
If his testimony holds up, its absolute bombshell. The Senate must call and hear from witnesses but it takes investigation to corroborate & the House doesn’t have the same resources DOJ has. This interview proves we must have a Special Counsel & AG Barr must be recused.
Remember that impeachment is only about the president. But to the extent others are potentially implicated in criminal conduct, only an independent criminal investigation into their conduct can do justice.
