You probably saw this season 3 plot twist coming-Russia hacked Burisma, where Hunter Biden was on the board, after the Trump scandal broke & likely looking for negative info on Biden. nytimes.com/2020/01/13/us/…
It's important to be savvy consumers of news here, especially on the forensic side of the equation. First will be the strength of the attribution of the hack to Russian GRU. And, if anything derogatory on the Bidens is produced, there will be significant issues of authentication.
There is NO indication here that Trump made any kind of plea to Russia for help so far, but it will be difficult to avoid that question in light of 2016's "Russia are you listening" & the "requests" to China & Ukraine. Lots of questions here.

How do you assess Parnas’ credibility? To the extent he’s a defendant in a criminal case & says things prosecutors can use against him, that makes him seem trustworthy. But everything he says must be corroborated.
In many instances he seems to assume people like Pence or Barr knew what was going on & the reasons for that need to be developed & corroborated.
If his testimony holds up, its absolute bombshell. The Senate must call and hear from witnesses but it takes investigation to corroborate & the House doesn’t have the same resources DOJ has. This interview proves we must have a Special Counsel & AG Barr must be recused.

The same day Lev Parnas texted former Ukrainian prosecutor Lutsenko, with whom he was collaborating on the attempted Biden dirt project, that Ambassador Yovanovitch is “not getting away,” Rudy Giuliani had the 1st of 2 chats with Secy Pompeo. I’m sure nothing about it came up.
According to the FOIA’d documents that revealed the conversations between Giuliani and Pompeo, The White House helped arrange contact between the two.
Yovanovitch was removed as Ambassador on May 20. Trump’s comment to Zelensky that she was going to “go through some things” didn’t happen until July 25. (Completing the sequence for the timeline geeks among us)

It's also nice to confirm that despite the problems at DOJ during this administration, career people, even when politically appointed, can do the right thing. Huber's work should embolden more people to stiffen their spines.
