Journalists can voice opinions and defend them, of course, but when you approach a person with a mic under the pretense of being a journalist, your job is to ask questions and SOLICIT opinions, not forcefully argue and press your own opinions on others... Else, false pretenses...
A person may be in the mood to share their thoughts but not inclined to argue. You have to make it clear to them, which of these activities they are about to be engaged in. In other words, whether they are about to speak to a JOURNALIST or an ACTIVIST...
For whatever strange reason, conservatives seem to have an issue understanding these concepts. Hence, we have a situation where a bimbo harassing college students is a "journalist", while an actual reporter asking legitimate questions w/o offering own views is a "liberal hack."
Of course, as pertains to the Gun Girl in particular, she doesn't so much argue as pass judgement and provoke, seamlessly crossing the border between an activist and a troll. All while approaching people under the guise of being a journalist. Which is actual harassment...
But hey, she is for guns (and, since guns = Jesus, also for Jesus by either transitive or reflexive property, depending on the level of your particular insanity), so it's all good, I guess.
