Bloomberg’s probably gonna take shots from everyone tonight. But who’s gonna take shots at Bernie? He’s the front runner right now, in case everyone forgot #DemDebates#NexstarDC
Damn. GAUNTLET DROPPED right out the gate from Elizabeth Warren. Harshest words in any debate so far #DemDebates#NexstarDC
Mayor Pete also came out fired up. Strategy is clearly to paint himself as the middle ground between socialist #Bernie and republican (#Bloomberg). He also answers my question -he’s obviously going at Bernie early/often #NexstarDC
So is it a sign of desperation to go after everybody hard on the stage? I only ask bc this is new for Elizabeth Warren. Haven’t seen it yet, but she’s now hit everyone on stage (minus Biden but it’s early) on their health care plans #DemDebate#DemocraticDebate#NexstarDC
Still on #ElizabethWarren -much of the speculation on why her campaign slumped after her big surge was her backtrack on #MedicareForAll. If the gameplan for tonight was to take everyone else’s health care plans down a peg, wonder if it’ll be successful #DemDebate#NexstarDc
“We cannot stop people indiscriminately.” #Bloomberg -apologized for
-then defended because he said it worked to reduce crime
-then derided again
-then said he learned from #StopAndFrisk all in one sentence #DemDebate2020#DemDebate#NexstarDC
It’s pretty clear everyone on the stage not named #Bloomberg has benefitted from going through a rigorous #DemDebate schedule before today. Seems like Mike is a lil drowned out, hard to come into the fray w/everyone else who’s been debating for months #DemDebate2020#NexstarDC
Warren taking over as moderator of this #DemDebate grilling #Bloomberg... The rest of us hearing his responses about multiple Non-disclosure agreements #DemDebate2020#NexstarDC
Bloomberg asked directly by Chuc Todd about his redlining comments; denies he ever said them. There was a lot of reporting done on those comments. I imagine this will get scrutiny after the debate #DemDebate#DemocraticDebate#NexstarDC
Sign of life from Bloomberg, and the first time I’ve heard him reflect back on a success from his stint in New York City #DemDebate#DemDebate2020#NexstarDC
I will say this about Mayor Pete’s performance, from start to finish he was on message. anti-polarization in the party, can’t win w/socialist nominee that pushes the party so far to the left. You can say the same for Bernie, his greatest hits again but consistently on message.
Couldn’t help but notice Amy Klobuchar ran out and didn’t shake anyone’s hand. She got incoming from Pete and Elizabeth Warren-thats after Amy defended Warren twice tonight #DemocraticDebate#DemDebate#NexstarDC
Just heard some post-debate analysis about Joe Biden having “one of his stronger debates”. Was it?? He felt almost nonexistent to me tonight #DemDebate#DemocraticDebate#NexstarDC

The letter quotes Graham directly from 2016
1) “If there is a Republican President in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say ‘Lindsey Graham said let us let the next President, whoever it might be, make that nomination.’
2) And you could use my words against me, and you would be absolutely right.”
From President Trump's memo on defunding cities w/ social unrest "...it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction." @NewsNationNow#NexstarDC
"Yes, the President is serious about this."-Press Sec. Kayleigh McEnany got a few questions on this, mostly when pressed that the move is unconstitutional. POTUS does not have the authority to unilaterally withhold funds appropriated by Congress. #NexstarDC@NewsNationNow
McEnany broke down what this White House memo tries to accomplish in 3 parts...The legal experts & members of congress we've spoken to today say this is unconstitutional and will almost immediately be met by legal challenges. #NexstarDC@NewsNationNow
