Recurrent evanescent lesions in the last 2/52
9. Lesions noted about 3 months ago. Associated burning when she goes out in the sun. History of recurrent joint pains and has been diagnosed with 'malaria and typhoid' thrice in the last 3 months.

Likely diagnosis?

1. Fox Fordyce disease. A disease of unknown cause affecting hair bearing areas.
A thread has been done on that before.
2. Chloasma (Melasma in pregnancy). -Sun avoidance and protection with sunscreen and counseling on the fact that it is managed rather than cured
3. Inflammatory Linear Verrucous Epidermal naevus (ILVEN). Some people got it precisely!
4. Acute Paronychia. Some were mentioning Felon. Paronychia is at the proximal nail fold and a felon is at the distal finger pulp. Acute because of the short duration and pain
5. Ichthyosis vulgaris. The history I gave. Condition usually Aut. Dominant. May be associated with atopic dermatitis.
6. Herpes Zoster. Nobody should miss this. Brought it here because I still got a consult for it last year which was surprising.
7. Idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis. DD - Vitiligo, Progressive macular hypomelanosis, Onchodermatitis, Skin changes of scleroderma

8. Acute urticaria. Some people gave the exact diagnosis! Acute urticaria - less than 6 weeks, Chronic urticaria - Greater than 6 weeks
9. SLE malaria rash with photosensitivity.
Well done everyone for the effort.
Nobody got No 1 though🤷‍♀️. And I made a whole blog post on that a few weeks back.
